Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the Iso speed to use it as negative paper?

A: This paper is rated at ISO P500.

Q: 2. how many exposures do i get out of one roll of this film?

A: Having used this film for a while now, I'm happy with it...however, the number of exposures per roll depends on your camera. The most popular negative size is 6x6cm, or 60mm square. In which case, you will get 12 frames per roll. Next is 6x4.5cm (also known as 645 where the frame is higher than it is wide, in which case you will get 16. Then, there's 6x9cm, where you will get 8 exposures per roll. This applies to ALL 120 film. If your camera is equipped to use 220 film, you will get twice the number of exposures per roll, although the film is still about 62mm wide, it is twice the length, around 6 feet. Hope this answers your question!

Q: 3. Can this paper be used in a pinhole camera and developed with paper developer?

A: Yes you can use Arista EDU Ultra Graded RC Paper in a pinhole camera and develop it with standard paper developers such as Dektol

Q: 4. what machines are compatible with paper?

A: I have an Epson Sylus Pro 3880. This paper works great with this machine.

Q: 5. One reviewer said this would not have longevity. Will prints fade when used with Epson ET4550 printer inks?

A: The inks in the ET-4550 are not considered archival quality so the prints on the Epson Value Photo Paper Glossy might last about 10-25 years before significant fading occurs.

Q: 6. Resently bought this multitone brand photo paper, who makes it? I do pinhole photography using paper as megative. Iso 6?

A: The Inkpress Media company makes the MultiTone Black & White RC Paper. The ISO of the paper may be 10 ISO.

Q: 7. Would this film fit in the 2x3 back of the Mamiya Super 23?

A: Yes! The Super 23's Type "A" film holder will take 2.25" x 3.25". The Type "J" holders take 2.5" x 3.5" though, so make sure of what you have!

Q: 8. Does this paper (8x10) come in Ultra Premium semi gloss?

A: No, Epson does not offer a semi-gloss version of the Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Glossy 8 x 10". The closest they offer is the Epson Premium Photo Paper Semi-Gloss (8.5 x 11", 20 Sheets) BH #EPPSGL20.

Q: 9. Can you use this paper for outdoor pinhole photography?

A: Yes, the Arista EDU Ultra VC RC Paper (Glossy, 8 x 10", 25 Sheets) may be used for pinhole photography.

Q: 10. Where can I find processing information for this film?

A: This is made to be processed in any standard developer. Follow the developer instructions.

[1.55 lb] The darkroom paper works well, and I would absolutely buy it again. I noticed that B&H packaged it with lots of filler to prevent it from flying around the large box. A smaller box would make more sense and probably cost you less, but hey, you got it to me on time and intact.

[Multigrade] Most other paper sheens are easy to differentiate from the back, but with the semi-matte I struggled to identify the emulsion side and ruined a few sheets at first, until I figured out to use the finger-lick method: lick a finger and stick it on a corner. Do it on the reverse side to compare. The noticeably stickier side is the emulsion (light-sensitive).
