NuGen Audio VisLM-H 2 Upgrade - Loudness Metering (Download)from NuGen Audio VisLM-H 2 Upgrade - Loudness Metering (Download)is a loudness meter plug-in and standalone application that offers a variety of loudness measurement tools intended for use in audio mastering, broadcast, film, and more. With a design focused on primary loudness parameters, the software combines an instant overview with detailed historical information, enabling the user to hit their target first time. Additional loudness logging and timecode functions allow for proof of compliance reporting and postmortem analysis with frame-accurate referencing.

A fully resizable interface and many additional visualizations make it even simpler to identify exactly the information needed to choose the configuration that matches the current workflow precisely. The program remembers loudness data up to twelve hours, locked to timecode received directly from the NLE/DAW. Any minor edit or overdub immediately triggers overall loudness updates, eliminating the need for end to end re-measurement. Loudness data is saved with the session allowing full session loudness recall. Offline AudioSuite scans can be loaded into the real-time meter for immediate pre-loading of loudness history.

[Yes] This software is a tremendous help in cleaning up background noise in audio. I use the plugin with Davinci Resolve. So far it has been working great. I would recommend checking it out if you are looking to cleanup audio.

[Yes] Bought this and its matching rx. They seem pretty good. You can select different definitions, FHD, HD, SD, and then can assign them to the 3 types, and allocate bit rates for each. Eg you can select HD, send that to SD and a bit rate of 800 and FHD to HD and a bit rate of 2000 etc. It then selects the resolution type, eg 720P. The only limitation I find a bit strange is that the full range of resolutions, are not available all the time. They vary what is available depending on the Hz, 50Hz or 60Hz of the incoming HDMI. I am using 60Hz, and this does not have 1080i, but if I was using 50Hz, then 1080i would be included.
60Hz has 480i, 480P, 720P, 1080P.
50Hz has 576i, 576P, 720P, 1080P, 1080i.
The other strange thing I notice is that if I select a bit rate of 800Kbps, and then monitor the link at the IP level, it seems to be using about 3.5Mbps.
However, for quality and ease of use, these seem to be great devices.

[Yes] There's so many protocols to work with in this little box, and decodes practically anything thrown at it.

It's not an entry level unit but it's very very good and VITEC keeps improving it

[Download] The Osprey is quite versatile and reliable. We have purchased dozens of the G1 & G2 encoders for use throughout numerous facilities in our extensive network. Our primary use is for multicasting, but we also do a number of unicasts and YouTube streams.
Osprey tech support is so helpful and knowledgeable, which is another huge selling point.
We have used numerous other manufacturers products (HaiVision, Evertz, Ensemble Design, and Lynx). All of them work fine but Osprey offered the best quality and reliability for the price.

[1 User] These units are ideal for instant connect up and they work. You can customise the bit rate and it keeps the video smooth. One TX can feed many RX.
