Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How long is the cord?

A: 6 feet in length.

Q: 2. WIll Trackballworks be supported over Bluetooth on Mac OSX 10.10+ eventually? I was disappointed to read that this product currently cannot be used over bluetooth on Mac OSX, as specified you must use the 2.4Ghz receiver. Seems to me this should have been disclosed on the product details.

A: This device is compatible with both Mac and PC systems.

Q: 3. Does this come with a charging cable?

A: Yes, the Kensington SlimBlade Pro Trackball Mouse comes with a USB cable included.

Q: 4. What is product's footprint?

A: Kensington does not make this information available. Based on the diameter of the ball itself (55 mm), the foot print is approximately 165 mm x 165 mm (about 6.5" x 6.5").

Q: 5. me and my movie

A: I have the very latest Mac OSX 10.13.4 and the Kensington software only allows the 2.4GHz receiver to be used, Bluetooth is not available. In addition, the 2.4GHz receiver has trouble during wakeup if the Mac has been 'sleeping', many times my receiver needs to be unplugged/replugged so the Mac OS can find it again, this is a pain in the neck. I have called Kensington Support and all they could suggest was to put new batteries in the Expert Mouse, of course that made zero difference. I have been a USB Expert Mouse Trackball user for over 10 years but this model does not work right with Mac's. The Trackball software and Expert Mouse are flawed, don't waste your money.

Q: 6. Can this device be used with 14" MacBook Pro with M2Max chip?

A: The Kensington Expert Mouse Wired Trackball is fully compatible with the 14" MacBook Pro M2 Max laptop.

Q: 7. Question for people who have used this, and also Apple's wireless trackpad. Is this a better user experience or easier on the wrists?

A: They are both easy on the wrists. Their style benefit is something each will find differently.

Q: 8. Is model K72327US identical to K72327U? Which is most recent? Differences?

A: The two units of the Kensington SlimBlade Trackball are the same.

Q: 9. is it compatible with windows 10?

A: Yes it is.

Q: 10. I wasn't signed in when I asked my question. Been using a wired Expert for 30 years. Purchased a Blue Tooth wireless when my wired died. It wont pair with either of my HP laptops one is running Win8.1 the other Win 10. Whats a girl to do?

A: Hello. I know, it seems that turning the mouse 'ON' and flipping the switch to 'Bluetooth' would be all that you need to do to pair. However, you also need to hold down all the mouse buttons, simultaneously, for about 3-5 seconds. After that, a blue light will start flashing near the bottom of the mouse, and the entry Expert Wireless TB should show up in your available Bluetooth devices list for pairing. There is a very poorly designed, and difficult to read, graphic on the bottom of the mouse illustrating this. Good luck pairing.

[4] I have been using a Kensington mouse for many, many, years, one that is exactly like this one, but not wireless. My wired one still works great, but but UI wanted to try their wireless, and this mouse is just as nice as the wired one, but without the hassle of the wire. I would highly recommend this to any one, it is one of the finest mouse you will ever find.

[4] This is not my first Kensington track roller - I LOVE them. Great ergonomic set-up. takes a little getting used to, but then so good for your mousing hand.

The newest version throws me off a bit as it puts itself into deep sleep so each morning I have to remember to flip it over and turn it on again, but that is better for battery life.

[Ambidextrous] Upgrading from the USB wired version. The wireless one seems to work just the same, which means its great.

As of 2023, on a 2019 MBP running Monterey OS, the Kensington app is useable with Bluetooth. The dongle is NOT required to use the app on my setup. Quite pleased with this.

There is no noticeable latency for me when using the mouse for precise photo-editing or general internet surfing. Be sure to use the app to set up sensitivity to your liking, just like any other mouse.

[Ball] After years of using the Kensington wired series at home and the wireless on the road, I decided to switch to the wireless expert trackball at home. It switches seamlessly between my multiple machines with the smooth tracking and scrolling I have come to expect from Kensington. Great product.

[4] My old wireless trackball wore out and it's not made anymore. A lot of trackballs use a really small ball, which isn't very accurate when you're selecting single pixels and such. This also has really good, simple software for setting up the buttons and fine tuning the pointer and scrolling. I don't know why anyone would want to use a mouse.
