[Yes] That's the great thing about Star Tech equipment, it just works. I've used this adapter on several newer Macs with USB-C ports without a problem. Plug it in and start computing. I bought it to have a dedicated adapter for the Macs and as a backup in case my AngelBird adapter goes AWOL. The price was spot on as well. 5
