This Lineco Gold ATG Tape 2 mil 1/2" x 36 yardsfrom Lineco Gold ATG Tape 2 mil 1/2" x 36 yardsis a reverse-wound acid-free adhesive transfer tape, with a clear solvent acrylic adhesive, reinforced with fiber mesh. ATG tape is used in picture framing, and mounting materials such as paper, wood, plastics, and metals. Its reinforced adhesive provides strong adhesion, high tack, and good cohesion. This 2-mil thick tapes is for use in 3M ATG guns, or similar devices.

[73 oz per Inch] This tape is great for repairing torn paper of just about any kind. Work it into the paper with a burnishing tool (any flat surfaced item will also work) and once done you can hardly see where the tear was. Much better than regular tape! 5

[0.1 lb] I had tried the ATG guns and was not really happy with them. The adhesive was not consistent and it was hard to tell where it had skipped. I can lay out a line of adhesive and know it is there. Sticks to hold backing paper great. 5

[73 oz per Inch] This is the most convenient way to permanently mount photos or other art, either to a paper or foam board backing, or between a backing and a mat. Since there are no instructions included, I was a bit puzzled the first time I used this tape, but the way it works is simple: (1) apply the tape to one surface (e.g. the backing board), e.g. around the edges and diagonally across; (2) make sure all measurements are correct and you're ready to attach the art work; (3) pull the brown tape backing off, leaving a sticky residue; (4) attach the art work to the backing board. Warning: it creates an immediate bond, so make sure you carefully line everything up, there's no realistic going back! 5

[73 oz per Inch] I use this tape to hinge photos to mat-board - I usually work with 5x7's, 8x10's, and 11x14's, and have had zero issues. This tape creates a strong bond and could also easily hold larger sizes. Plus, with a substantial 150 feet of it, it's hard to find a better deal. 5
