[Rod Ports] Of course you have to pay, but Arri designs are second to none. The extensions are great for packing these down into your case, and smooth operation when you need to extend side coverage. A must if shooting with diffusion filters outside or near hard, sidey light sources.

[Rod Ports] This adapter will suit my needs with a small modification.

[4.78 lb] Tried using two tripods or rolling cstands but this may be a much better option. one rolling cstand or tripod with these arms seems even more stable and easier to move around while on set. Clamp arm does fit the bottom of a cstand.

[4.78 lb] This support system was very inexpensive, but works very well. The slider is a longer slider and didn't work with a single tripod. We should have bought supports earlier as we were using a stand at each end. The single tripod with supports is a lot more stable and much easier to adjust and move.

Our system is lightweight, but the supports seem capable of handling heavier cameras based on build quality.

[ABS] I bought the Redrock Micro Matte box when it was in the Deal Zone and was really excited. It came, I set it up and it had some glaring issues. For one, it was clunky and too big. But most of all, the design didn't allow me to have great positioning of the center of the box with the lens/camera. So i returned that and bought this. It was cheaper (than the regular price) but I saw that in the design, it seemed like it had greater flexibility in regards to the positioning of everything. I assumed correctly. It's awesome. Every piece of it I actually love. Much smaller and lighter but still has a huge opening for big cine lenses. Plus, it uses 4x4 filters rather than the bigger filters the RR used. I love it. One of my favorite buys in recent history.

[Rod Ports] Gave that extra stability I was looking for. Easy to mount.

[ABS] Bought the matte box three years ago and it still excels everyday I use it. Compact enough to fit in a backpack, lightweight and really solid build, and the price is perfect.

[4.78 lb] Just shot a film called Breaking and Entering and was able to get some beautiful shots with my new rig.

[4.78 lb] Got this because of the HIGH recommendation from a “ documentary filmmaker and working DP” and YouTuber who admits he absolutely works his gear into the ground, and these are the best V-mount batteries for his situation, because they are rugged and don’t require a charger. No charger to have to carry into the field means no charger to lose and repurchase, and no charger also means one more space in his pack for something else.

Well, I can’t argue with that. 

This is my first V-Mount battery, so I can’t compare it to other V’s, but I’m glad I went this route. But to compare the construction of this battery to some L-Mount batteries I’ve gotten in the past, the quality of this V-mount is VERY high. The exterior is first rate quality: there is nothing cheap or flimsy about it. It charged up from 1/3 rd power (using B&H ‘s recommended Lenovo charger) in the space of an hour. I got it to power my beloved Colbor RGB 60 in the field, and it works like a champ.

Now I don’t have to drag my Bluetti around to power my lights in the field, and instead use the Bluetti for what it was intended: recharging gear back at the car.

I will absolutely be getting this V-mount again as I expand my kit.
