Safeguard both your GoWing Lens Flipper Cap Nikon F MountLens Flipper and your Nikon F mount lens against dirt and scratches with the convenient Lens Flipper Cap. Made of flexible, durable silicone, it is easily pushed onto either end of the flipper when there's not a lens attached. By covering one of the unit's two mounts, it prevents debris from collecting there and making contact with your lens when you secure it to the flipper. Grooves along the outside of the cap give you a better grip for easier attachment and removal.

To connect the cap, put the tail/end of it through the triangle-shaped lug on the flipper, then pull it back over and pass it through its own small hole to create a loop around the lug. Once it's locked in place, pull to tighten it securely and then place the cap onto the flipper's lens mount.

Q: 1. If I order this for fuji x now, when can I get this product?

A: We are expecting availability for this product August 25th, 2016.

Q: 2. I have the AF-S Nikkon 85mm 1.8 G. I lost my front lens cap, which is the one I need?

A: The Nikon 67mm Snap-On Lens Cap is compatible with pretty much any lens with a 67mm filter thread. That being said, you could use it on the Nikon AF-S 85mm f/1.8G lens.

Q: 3. will this fit my Nikon 24-85 mm lens?

A: No you would need the 72mm Snap-on Lens Cap:http://bhpho.to/1eWQUtJ

Q: 4. Since this is an item that is meant to carry an extra lens, how is that accomplished with out an over the shoulder strap?

A: The GoWing Lens Flipper Versatile for Canon RF-Mount Lenses has a 1/4"-20 socket, so it could be carried with camera strap systems that use a 1/4"-20 stud.

Q: 5. When attaching a lens does it lock in place like it would on a camera?

A: Yes it does. It basically works the same as the camera. Both sides also have color markings for the EF or EF-S lenses. The only problem though is they are very small markings and sometimes hard to see. I used my wifes fingernail polish to make the marks bigger though and that solved the problem. All and all I really love this tool and am very happy with it.

Q: 6. i bought this product attached lens one side ok other side not able to remove the lens?

A: I have attached two lens all the time with no problem removing either lens. I was late in responding because I wanted to test the flipper in cold weather with two lens to see if weather had any effect on the flipper but it does not.As with any lens mounting just be careful to align the dots on the lens with the dots on the flipper. I hope this answers your question.

Q: 7. What lens cap replacement for DX 10-24 mm lens?

A: Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5G ED Lens has a front thread of 77mm, therefore you can attach this cap in front of your lens.

Q: 8. Would this product hold up to having two large L telephoto lenses attached all day on a long hot day outside? Can the plastic hold up to it? I was just thinking if a person became good at this change-over system, this could hold the 2nd and 3rd lenses, counting the 1st on the camera body. Is there anything that tells of a maximum weight or anything that would prevent this?

A: Holding two lens would not hang or balance as good on the side of your body. I first researched the product on the manufactures webpage. The center ring is all metal and there was a video of a man hanging off the strap. Who knows if it was not a lucky try and many breaks, but it shows the center is quite strong. The lens mount strength are all in the screws holding the metal rings to the body but it looks strong enough to support a large lens over time. I have only briefly owned mine but it seems to be a well made product. One dropped expensive lens would be too much bad press for such a company, I would think.

Q: 9. Are there caps on this? I am concerned about dust. Without caps my concern is you have a little cup pointing up catching dust, you put the lens on and flip it, dust falls onto rear of lens, put lens back on camera, dust in camera.

A: there are no provided caps....you could use a camera body cap or use two lenses so that it's always covered ...just a note--the camera body caps don't fit very tight...at least mine don't...

Q: 10. can someone confirm this product hold both EF and EF-S lenses?

A: It might not work for an EF-S lens that has a back part that protrudes too far back. The mount is the same, but some EF-S lenses don't work with some full frame cameras because that back part hits the mirror.

[Silicone] This is an ingenious little device that makes lens swapping a breeze. Works great with my Fuji lenses (most of the time sigma 18-50 and fuji 70-300). The lenses feel secure and the device seems sturdy and well built.

[0.05 lb] Often I want to travel light when I am out taking photos. This accessory allows me to carry an extra lens without having to use a backpack. Changing lenses is fast and easy. I put the front lens cap of the lens on the camera in my pocket, and don't have to fool with the rear lens cap at all. I wish the strap was a little wider. That would make it more comfortable. If I have to scramble, it is pretty easy to move the lens toward my back to protect it. I have a feeling this may be one of the most useful gadgets I have purchased.

[0.05 lb] I bought this to be able to carry a Tokina 100mm f/2.8 macro lens with me, and at times a Nikon 70-300mm. Both worked well with the Lens Flipper. They don't mention that there is a cap in the box, so I bought a cap at the same time. It's ok to have the two (one from the box and the extra for like $5) because when not in use you can cover both sides to prevent dust and dirt. My two comments is that I would like a color code to be able to know which lens you are releasing. If you check out videos on how to use it, you carry one lens with the Lens Flipper, then when you want to switch lens, you remove from the camera and attach the camera lens to the lens flipper, then you remove the new lens from the flipper. However, for the few seconds you have both lenses on the lens flipper, it is possible to release the wrong lens. Example, I had my macro lens on the lens flipper and A 24-120mm on my D750. Once both lens were on the lens flipper, I was holding the macro ready for the release to allow me to mount it on my D750. But by mistake I pressed the release for the 24-120. So be careful to release the correct lens. If there was a color coding on the release, that mistake would be harder to make. I also would like the release to be a bit more firm, I am a little concerned that it could bump against something and release the lens. Maybe they should have a lock position. But overall I found it very useful.

[0.05 lb] I am a current user of the GoWing Lens Flipper for Canon EF-Mount lenses, and now that I have the Canon R3, the GoWing Flipper for RF-mount lenses allows easy carrying of additional lighter RF lenses such as the Canons' RF16mm, 35mm, and other small RF lenses. This gives me the flexibility to quickly interchange lenses on the go without fumbling through a camera bag. Highly recommended for Canon users.
