The Lectrosonics VRT2 Receiver Module 537.600-614.375 MHzsupports 3080 tunable frequencies across a 77 MHz bandwidth (three standard Lectrosonics blocks), matching the tuning ranges of the SSM, LT, and LMb "large bandwidth" transmitters. Up to six modules can be used simultaneously when installed in the Lectrosonics 1 RU Venue2 receiver main frame (available separately), and utilized in wireless applications for live stage, theater, houses of worship, and more.

The VRT2 module feature IQ dynamic-tracking filters, which accommodates a wide range of transmitter-RF power levels while also enabling tight channel spacing—critical features as the RF spectrum continues to shrink. Furthermore, the receiver modules can be operated independently, each with switched diversity reception for a total of six audio channels or operated in pairs for a more robust diversity reception with one audio channel per module pair.

Finally, the VRT2 modules are easy to change with no tools required and can be mixed and matched within one frame in any position, except when paired for ratio-diversity reception. VRT2 modules are not compatible with older Venue (VRM, VRMWB, and VRMWBL) frames.

When the incoming RF signal is strong, the iQ filter switches to a narrow-band mode with reduced gain for additional suppression of signals above and below the operating frequency. When the incoming RF signal level weakens, the filter switches to an extended-range mode for maximum sensitivity in the receiver module

It can also be used with the Lectrosonics IFBT4 Frequency-Agile Compact IFB Transmitter (Block 470), which covers 470.100 - 495.600 MHz (B&H # LEIFBT4470), and the Lectrosonics IFBT4 Frequency-Agile IFB Transmitter (Frequency Block 20), which covers 512.000 - 537.500 MHz (B&H # LEIFBT420).

A: Yes. Just select the band that covers the block that the WM is in. A1 covers blocks 470, 19, and 20. B1 covers blocks 21, 22, and 23. C1 covers blocks 24,25, and 26.

A: The receiver accepts from 6-18V d.c. @1.4W, so it is compatible with most any battery or DC supply system. The connector is an LZR threaded locking plug. Our PS200 cable goes from a Hirose to LZR so that might help. (You didn't state what type of connector is at the supply side). Also - and very important: you must order with the receiver a bottom plate that is suitable to your application. If the receiver is not being used in a camera the most commonly used plate is the SREXT. This gives you both audio channels out on TA3 connectors and the LZR power input port.

A: Yes, the Lectrosonics SRc Dual-Channel Slot-Mount ENG Receiver can be used with older Lectrosonics transmitters that operate on the same frequency band. The receiver has different compatibility mode settings for use with transmitters other than those from the Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid Wireless series.

A: No it is not. Do not mix and match brands.

Q: 6. Is this compatible with the HMa plug on? I notice a lot of guys are still using the 411a receiver. Is there a big difference?

A: Yes, the LR receiver is compatible with the HMa plug-on transmitter. B&H # LEHMAA1 is the version for this particular receiver's frequency band (A1: 470 to 537 MHz). There are some differences in features between the two receivers such as a wider 75 MHz tuning bandwidth for the LR vs a 25.6 MHz tuning bandwidth for the 411a.

Q: 7. Can I buy additional receiver to pair up and have a total connections of 3 receivers to 1 transmitter?

A: Yes. multiple receivers may be used with a single transmitter. Frequency Presets There are 10 presets available for programming in the IFBR1B. The stored frequencies remain in memory during power OFF and even with the battery removed. Use the UP and DOWN arrows to scroll through the previously selected frequencies stored in the IFBR1B and quickly change frequencies for quick communication.

[1] This tx works, even after having been dropped or submerged in water, remember to have the antenna above water for it to work! Have a few of them and they have gotten some interesting dialog in Alaska over the years. 5

[1] Having owned the SR from Lectro, I like this better. Sure not the same power as the SR, but quality in build and sound are right there. And the tuning, channel search could not be easier. Love it 5

[1] AllProHD.com needed a single receiver for some smaller one-man- band projects. We tried Senheiser G2 and new G3 and again they still suck. So we spent a little more and glad we did. The LR works with all our smqv packs and HMA cubes and a good companion to the SRC RX. This completes our kit and our sound is excellent. The signal is super clear as you would expect. If you are looking for solid wireless performance then look no further. This stuff always works perfect and has the clarity we need for professional productions. 5

[3080] Lectrosonics makes great practical gear for on location work and this unit is nothing but great, using it as a single channel unit with the WM tx block 21. Using it for over the shoulder bag recording and as a on camera single channel receiver. Easy to use and works great. 5

[77 MHz] Beware if you're using this with power adapter and Venice via an A-Box, there's been a few cameras fried with this combination. it's a mystery which equipment is a fault. 5
