Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. which one can be used for canon TS-E 17mm for sw150?

A: I don't think sw150 works with your lense. Lee filters website only lists adapters for 2 canon lenses:Canon EF 14mm f2.8 L II USMCanon EF 11-24mm f4L USM

Q: 2. What is the thread pitch of this adapter? M95x0.75? M95x1? M95x1.5?

A: The LEE Filters SW150 Mark II Lens Adapter for Lenses with 95mm Filter Threads has a .1mm thread pitch.

Q: 3. Is it interchangeable with Ice 82mm Adapter for Haida 150 Series Filter Holder ?

A: No, the LEE Filters SW150 Mark II Lens Adapter for Lenses with 82mm Filter Threads is not compatible on the Haida 150 Series Filter Holder. This is the correct one for that holder, https://bhpho.to/3069dNr.

Q: 4. I just received my 95mm adaptor ring - however I don't see threads on this to screw into the lens - what am I missing?

A: There is a thread but it is difficult to see. The adaptor is a cup shape. The inside of the cup faces towards the lens. The thread is on the small lip that extends upwards from the bottom of the inside of the cup.

Q: 5. Will this adapter work with the Sony G-series 28-135mm cinezoom lens that has 95mm diameter? Any specific reason why not? And can anyone comment on vignetting? Lastly, what other components are needed for the setup (other than the filters)? Thanks.

A: Yes, the lens adapter will work on the Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS Lens B&H # SO281354 MFR # SELP28135G. The adapter is for lenses that have a 95mm filter thread.

Q: 6. May I use this upcoming adapter with LEE Filters SW150 Mark II Filter System Holder on both Nikon 14-24mm and 24-77mm F2.8E VR lens?

A: The current lineup of lenses that can be used with the LEE SW150 Mark II are Nikon AF-S Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G ED, Nikon 14mm f2.8 D AF ED, Canon EF 14mm f2.8 L II USM, Canon EF 11-24mm f4L USM, Canon EF 11-24mm, Samyang 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC, Sigma 12-24mm f4.5-5.6 DG HSM II, Tamron 15-30mm f2.8 SP Di VC USD, and Tokina AT-X 16-28mm f/2.8 PRO FX. So, unfortunately the 24-70 will not be compatible. However, you will want to get the dedicated adapter ring for your 14-24mm f/2.8 lens.

Q: 7. Will this work on a Sigma Cine 14mm Prime lens? Or for any sigma 95mm lens front

A: The Sigma 14mm prime has a 95mm diameter front but does not have 95mm threads, it will not work on the Sigma 14mm Cine. This adapter will work on a lens that has 95mm front filter threads.

Q: 8. This holder fits tokina 11-16 mm lens (for Nikon d7100). Generate vignetting?

A: This is an adapter ring only for the Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8 lens. A holder and adapter ring to fit the Tokina 11-16mm without vignetting are the LEE Filters LEE100 Filter Holder, B&H # LE100FH and the LEE Filters 77mm Wide-Angle Lens Adapter Ring for 100mm System Filter Holder, B&H # LEARWA77. https://bhpho.to/2r1Vzw4 https://bhpho.to/2QEbtXK

Q: 9. Will this Lee 105mm ring also work with the Cokin XL series of 130mm filter holders?

A: This ring only fits the Lee SW150 Mark II filter holder.

Q: 10. Will Lee release adapters for lenses with smaller filter threads in the future? I have lenses with 67mm and 58mm filter sizes. If not, can I use step up rings for smaller lenses?

A: SW 150 MK-II HOLDER KIT WHICH I BOUGHT IS FOR SQUARE OR RECTANGULAR FILTERS (ND GRAD OR 10 STOP SOLID ETC) NOT FOR CIRCULAR FILTER. HOW EVER,FROM FIGURE ABOVE IT IT SEEMS THAT IT IS FOR CIRCULAR FILTER.I want to tell you more that , unless you are combiling 2 to 3 filters at a time, not possible to get ultimate quality.Using one specific folter of circular size may be---thats why to go for square or rectangular filter.hope it will help you .

[5 x 4.95 x 1.3"] Sold built, and fits perfectly. There are no instructions on how this is suppose to go on the lense. It would be obvious if you have had experience with lee filter holder but took me a moment to figure out. I like this especially because to fit on Nikon 14-24mm lense you will have to take out the lense where as this just screws on to the front element.

[72 mm] I have been a fan of ultra-wide lenses for years.  This adapter has been extremely well designed for durability and ease of attachment.  So far, I am extremely pleased with the results, but I have not used any filters at the 7mm level yet.

[5 x 4.95 x 1.3"] This is completely compatible with the Zeiss Milvus 15mm /f2.8 lens, as tested on a Nikon D810 with the Lee SW150 Mark II filter holder. The adapter screws onto the lens and fits perfectly, leaving ample access to the focusing ring. The ring is very well made.

The only downside of the ring is that the lens cap cannot be affixed to the front of the lens with this adapter ring in place. Lee makes a plastic cap that can go over the entire adapter ring for the smaller filter system, allowing the ring to be left in place in the field when moving the lens to and from your bag. No such product is made for this larger system.

To solve this one problem with the system, I carefully measured the filter adapter ring and 3D printed a plastic cap to go over it. This is probably a bit much for most people, but if you or someone you know is handy with a 3D printer and 3D design, it's not a hard thing to do.

Hope this helps. The Zeiss Milvus 15mm is an amazing lens, and this filter holder system is completely compatible with no vignetting. I use the holder system with Lee and NiSi filters.

[0.345 lb] I was concerned about the look and was not sure if it works well. When I saw it, it looks great works fine.It is easy to put it onto the lens thread and nicely fits into Lee SB 150 filter holder and looks great.
I love it and don't have to hold my Galen Rowell ND filter in front of my 95mm lens any more and now I'm using Lee SB150 filter holder for my other lenses using step up
rings.Another nice thing is that since I have 95mm circular polarizer attached to this 150-95mm ring, it's easy to put the Lee SB 150 filter holder to any sizes of lenses and I have one more slot available to stack second ND filter or other filter in my Lee SB filter holder.
Now I still use 150*150mm square Lee circular polarizer into the first slot of Lee SB150 filter holder and the Galen Rowell ND filter onto the second slot for my 14-24mm Nikkor lens. However, I have a second slot available free now since I could attach my 95mm Singh Ray circular polarizer onto the 150-95mm step up ring and don't need a 150*150mm square circular polarizer attached to my SB150 Lee filter holder any more, I have two slots available for filters.
And it is much better and convenient to use
otherwise a very bulky and big SB 150 filter holder with square large size ND filter(I use 150*225mm square Galen Rowell ND filter and it sticks out and needs to be used carefully)
But now I could use it for other lenses and don't have to hand hold ND filter anymore.
It works very nicely for me.

[Aluminum] I previously had a rigid-case filter holder that took up too much room in my backpack. This holder safely stores my 4x5 filters while taking up a fraction of the space of most other filter cases. Accessing and storing the filters is easy and the microfiber fabric can be used to clean the filters.

[72 mm] Lee makes the best Big Stopper, period. Hitech is pure garbage, plastic cheap garbage unless they started to produce glass. The Lee 150x150 and 100x100 however are both works of art, and to make it work on the 11-24mm, what other option is there? Hitech makes something to fit around the lens hood? Sure, It's tough to install, I had to watch someone on youtube do it, but once you get it working, it's golden.

[72 mm] I first got the Lee SW150 system for my Nikon 14-24mm. This is a great lens for my landscape photography but the Lee system allows me to use only two filters (unlike the basic model that can hold 3 filters). Wanting to be able to use 3 filters myself without having to purchase the basic model and all new filters, I decided to buy SW150 Mark II Lens Adapter for my Nikon 24-70mm VR Lens. This adapter has been able to be threaded onto my 82mm circular polarizer. I can still rotate the polarizer, use my ND filters (little stopper and big stopper as well) and a ND Grad. There is no light leak or vignette on any of my images. There is a very tight fit when using the little, big, and supper stoppers and it feels like you could possibly scratch a filter if you're not careful. No scratches on my filters yet though. This purchase has made my landscapes pop since I can polarizer the water while I prolong the overall exposure and adjust for the sky!

[0.345 lb] I've had a harriet fix for a few years now, but this is great what the engineers have created. It works really well not only for the bigg stopper, but for all other filters too.
