[0.155 lb] Firstly i must comment on the technical advice and range of price which I received on my initial phone call. The helped a lot with the decision regarding the purchase. This medium price range example arrived rapidly and was completely satisfactory. I have not yet been able to put this adapter to use but the mechanical aspect of the fitting is i impressive.

[0.155 lb] I had a similar experience as the first reviewer. I did not find that the Voightlander was loose, but did notice that there was not a distinct click when the adapter was mounted on the camera. I did not realize that I would need to use a piece of plastic to hold the aperture of the lens open with the Voightlander, while the Novaflex has a ring on the outside that lets you adjust the aperture manually. I was afraid that the little snippit of credit card wedged in the aperture control of the lens might some day work loose and scratch the sensor on my G1, so I decided to go with the Novaflex. The machining on the inside doesn't look perfect, but the adapter fits snugly and functions perfectly.

[0.155 lb] I purchased this adapter to let me shoot my legacy 35mm lenses. It works perfectly. As for the legacy lenses, they were fantastically expensive and I sorely missed auto-focusing and image stabilization. But this well-crafted adapter let me shoot them perfectily--with auto-exposure--on my Panasonic DMC GX1.

[0.155 lb] I had a lot of Leica R lens that were just sitting around for years not being used,so I bought an Olympus OMD-5 so that I could possibly use the Leica lens with an adapter. There is manual focusing only, but the images are tack sharp.The color reproduction is what Leica is noted for. The only con,to me, is there is no built in indicator to indicate that you have the correct focus. This can slow you down. The quality is more than I expected. Do not get rid of your old Leica lens just because Leica has abandoned us. Technology has moved to where we can now use these lens on today's cameras with the new adapters. The quality of this is adapter equal to the quality of the Leica lens which means that you have a quality match.

[0.155 lb] My headline says it all. It is an adapter of excellent quality and works as expected. I used this on a 35mm Elmar, 50mm Elmar, and28mm Hektor. All worked fine and achieved infinity focus. The adapter seemed a bit tight when locking in but it works. Warning to those who want to use collapsible lenses like the 50mm Elmar: do NOT collapse the lens! The barrel extends so far to the back that it hits the area around the sensor. A hard tap to the front of the lens will damage the sensor area inside your Sony A series camera. I would strongly advise against it. The old lenses look great on my A9 sensor. The Elmar lenses are particularly beautiful and will give any modern lens a run for its money. My Hektor is the most underperforming of the lot but still the rendering is sublimely old-timey. Feels almost like an Ansel Adams picture if printed in black and white (not that I am comparing myself to the old master!) It costs more than its competitors but do yourself a favor and get a good adapter once and not have to worry about having to get more in the future. You've spent a lot of money on your camera and lenses (these old LTM's are getting more expensive on eBay thanks to the resurgence of film) so why cheapen out on an adaptor?
