The Tiffen 5x6" CC05C Cyan Filteris a color compensating (or color correction) filter for use when making color balance adjustments. It can be used to alter the color balance of a scene by placing in front of a light source or the lens of your camera. It can also be used to apply color corrections when used in the darkroom with an enlarger or to help pre-visualize color adjustments when viewing prints.
Cyan is the opposite of red and can be used to reduce red tones or casts within a scene or print. This cyan CC05 is less dense than a CC10 filter, and requires a 0.3 stop compensation for normal exposure results.
Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology; a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 5 x 6" / 127 x 152.4mm.

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. Is this a single cartridge or a two pack?
A: This is a single cartridge.
Q: 2. Thanks for your explanation of copy machine vs photo printer. Most of us understand that copy machine prints more text documents while photo printer was not intended to print text but photos. Therefore I would never have thought about asking the estimate of P900 ink usage of print text books — Please forgive me my bluntness. I have also noticed that Epson’s change of cartridge size is possibly a way of increase ink price, e.g. 80ml cartridges cost only $58 each, of course the P900 is much compact. For people who upgrade from P800 to P900, it is definitely a leap of ink cost increase. May I use 3 highly pathetic scenarios for discussion purpose: 1. Print a photo of dark sky with 95% of the entire sky is dark blue and 5% with stars in the night sky. I will think the black and blue cartridges will soon go empty while yellow or magenta ink likely untouched. (How many prints could be produced with 50ml blue and black cartridges in this case?) 2. A high key photo of sky with a tint of orange color. In this case I would assume that the yellow and magenta cartridge will be able to produce a lot more prints than scenario 1. ((But roughly how many prints could be made before yellow and magenta run out?) 3. To print a color chart that divides 17X22 into 10 portions with each of them filled with matching colors of the 10 ink cartridge set. I will assume all the ink cartridge will run out at the same time. (How many prints CAN be produced in this case? — this is Epson color science not artistry. Do you think Epson should print this scenario on to every of their ink cartridges labels, just like a pack of frozen lasagne commonly print “for 2 people or for 4 people” on their packages? ) I am just frustrated that no body seem to want to give a serious answer. I am seriously considering pre-ordering the P900 and I have been buying from B&H for over 20 years.
A: Unfortunately there is no answer. It basically depends on how much ml of ink is on each print & that is something experience & time will tell. this is a high quality photo printer which definitely bring down the cost of more compact printers per print but figure the value of the final product "Gallery & Museum Quality".
Q: 3. How many ml capacity in XL tank vs regular tank?
A: The Xl is 10.8ml vs the regular at 6.5ml.
Q: 4. Can this ink package produce over 100, or 200, or 300 8x10's, ball park answer is all I'm looking for?
A: Sorry, but we don't have a clue as to how many images you can print from one set of Ink Tanks.....
Q: 5. If I primarily am printing with matte black, is it possible to run the printer with an empty photo black?
A: When the cartridge finishes, there is usually some ink left in the line and will finish the print job. However, it will likely not allow you to print another job after that.
Q: 6. How many 8x10 best quality color prints does this pack yield?
A: This is really an imponderable question. The number of prints it can produce varies with each image. Is it color or B&W? If you're printing more B&W than color, you'll run out of the black and gray inks faster. (That's one reason the black ink tanks are bigger.) It's my experience that you'll run out of magenta quicker than anything else. But, again, it depends largely on the color composition of the images you print. Sorry I can't be more exact. However, since you're using a Pixma Pro-1 printer, you're using more inks than any other printer on the market, except for the Canon iPF printers, which are significantly more expensive than the Pixma printers. The Pixma printers are also the highest quality printers available for the range of paper sizes it can handle. If you truly need the best quality, the number of prints you can get from a new kit of ink tanks is immaterial.
Q: 7. Are these cartridges compatible with the HPLaserJet Pro M454DW?
A: The HP Color LaserJet Pro M454dw will use the HP 414A or 414X toner. Only the 414 series toner will work in the LaserJet Pro M454dw. The 410A toner will not work.
Q: 8. How many pictures (or what is the area) we can we print with one ink cartridge ?
A: There is no real way to tell this, as the manufacturer is not listing any information on how many prints you can get. This is something that can change based off what you are printing and how often.
Q: 9. If printing photos with mix of all colors (cityscapes in fall) at 17x22, how many minimum prints can I expect from this kit? Thx
A: Epson does not provide a number of prints but set of inks. However, some reports have independently tested the Epson P900 and estimate the cost per 13x19 to be around $1.70 to $2 plus the cost of paper.
Q: 10. what is the cartridge capacity on these?
A: The cyan 200 is a standard capacity cartridge. Epson provides some specifications on cartridge performance at their website, cartridgeinfo. How long they last and how many prints you can get depends on what type of printing you are doing. If you are printing 8.5 x 11 full color photo quality photo prints, where the entire paper surface is printed, the cartridge might need replacement after only 10 or 15 photos. If you print only Word docs or web pages on a draft setting, the cartridge will last for probably 80 pages at least. If you print very seldom, you will not get as many prints because the heads will need cleaning and that uses ink. Hope this helps.
