$689.97 $979.76

Designed with large objectives and a wide exit pupil, the Hawke Sports Optics' green 10x50 Nature-Trek Binoculars are binoculars with enhanced low-light capabilities versus similar optics with smaller objectives. To further boost their low-light abilities are silver-coated BAK4 roof prisms and anti-reflection fully multi-coated optics that produce bright and clear images with accurate color rendition from dawn to dusk. The combination of optics and objectives make the Nature-Trek binoculars ideally suited for most outdoor activities from hunting, to birding, to sporting events.

To help offset the weight of the over-sized objectives, the Nature-Trek binoculars are built with a lightweight polycarbonate chassis that is also impact and corrosion-resistant to help it hold up to a lifetime of outdoor use. The chassis is protected by green rubberized armor that is textured to give them a non-slip grip especially in cold and wet conditions. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproof - especially in extreme weather conditions. To reduce user-fatigue and keep them steady, a tripod adapter mount is located in the front of the hinge for setting them up on a support system. A right-eye diopter adjustment allows the binoculars to be customized to most people's needs, and their twist-up eyecups means they can be comfortably used with or without eye wear.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. is the 15mm eye relief enough for a person that wears glasses?

A: Thanks for your interest in Hawke Sport Optics. Our Frontier HD X 8x42 models have a 18mm eye relief . Ideally when wearing eyeglasses 16mm -18mm of eye relief is perfect. 15mm can work for some guys just depending on the style they are wearing. If you have anymore questions feel free to contact use anytime. Have a great week,

Q: 2. Do these binoculars have a field flattener ?

A: They do not have a field flattener. However, These binoculars feature anti-reflection fully multicoated extra-low-dispersion (ED) apochromatic lenses with phase-correcting and dielectric coatings on BAK4 roof prisms. When these optical components are combined you will be presented with bright and clear high-contrast images with accurate colors and enhanced clarity without distortion or fringing—even at the extreme edges. I would also like to direct you to this website I frequently use. https://www.bestbinocularsreviews.com/Hawke-Frontier-8x42-ED-X-Binoculars-Review-232.htm

Q: 3. Are these tripod adaptable ?

A: Yes, but only with a "cradle" type tripod mounting devise. Example: Snapzoom Universal Binocular Tripod Mount BH #SNSZM • MFR #SZ-M https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1428856-REG/snapzoom_sz_m_universal_binocular_tripod_mount.html

Q: 4. nder "overview",it says :...with accurate colors and enhanced clarity without distortion or fringing—even at the extreme edge". while under "optical performence" it says :"...with limited edge distortion." Isn't there a contradiction between the two statements ?

A: There is no perfect binocular even the $2,000. Swarovski is not perfect. If you get a chance please check out this website: https://www.bestbinocularsreviews.com/Hawke-Frontier-8x42-ED-X-Binoculars-Review-232.htm

Q: 5. Why is the green more expensive?

A: That is the way Hawke is pricing that specific model. Possibly green harder to produce.

Q: 6. Can this unit mount to a tripod?

A: The Hawke Sport Optics 8x25 Endurance ED Monocular does not have a tripod thread but you can you this Manfrotto adapter to mount it on a tripod: https://bhpho.to/3wr4Ytx

Q: 7. I am a glass wearer. The eye relief for 10x42 is 13mm. Will it be a problem? I will mostly use it for birdwatching. Or should i go with 8x42 one?

A: For monocular or binocular the lowest eye relief I recommend for people that wear glasses is 14mm or greater.

[50 mm] Nice, compact binocular. Sturdy build with usable features.

[5 mm] The scope is really well designed and constructed. All the touches feel of high quality. The snout extends, the twist-up eye cup reaches a plateau, locking it in the extended position. The mount is just about right on the balance-point. Focus is very smooth, no need for gearing. The finish is rugged and scientific looking (if that's a thing). The case is fiddly to put on and take off, but once it's on, it opens up so you can use everything.
The view is crisp, clear and contrasty. Overall I can't think of one bad thing about this one. Factoring in all the details with the price, it's an absolutely incredible value.
I always wanted to try a Hawke. I wish I did sooner.

[Center] I bought 2 Hawke Nature-Trek 10x42 bins for my grandkids. I researched all of the entry level bins on the internet and Hawke stood out in the reviews. Comparing these binoculars to my $500 Leupolds, I was surprised at the solid build and optics. Not the light gathering ability of Leupold, but solid clear easy to focus images. Excellent price and service from B&H, as always. I think these will give the kids years of enjoyment. I also recommend these for the casual adult user.

[Roof (BAK4)] Love my new monocular- easy to focus, sharp image, and small enough to carry around. Seems sturdy and well made. The lens cover could have a stronger attachment (it could slide off); other than that, seems excellent. Ordering was easy, and delivery was quick.

[5 mm] If you are in the market for a small binocular with top-of-the-line performance this, is it.

I have several old binoculars a Meade 7 x 50 porro, a Tasco 10 x 25 and Bushnell 10 X 25 and which like me were getting are old.

A friend recently became interested in bird watching and I did the research.  As I live in the Houston area and at the edges of both the Central and Mississippi migratory bird flyways in the U.S. and live on a large tract of land, I have the opportunity to see a lot of different birds.

As my old Meade was becoming harder to focus, I looked at the current market of ED binoculars and saw the Celestron NatureDX 8 X 42 model.  Like many reviews it is fantastic binocular.  I also decided to replace my small truck binoculars with something better than the Tasco 10 X 25 or the Bushnell and found the Hawk Vantage 8 X 32 model and I ordered it.  I also gave some thought to the Hawke Endurance ED model and almost sent an email to B & H to change out my order but I didn’t.

Upon arriving I did a comparison of the Celestron NatureDX against the Hawke Vantage.  I cannot see the difference between the two.  I can clearly see the difference between the Vantage the Tasco and the Bushnell. So, I drove out to the coast to look at the coastal shore birds.  The Vantage is a very good binocular.  It is lite, well built, easy to focus, very good light and for an eye glasses wearing person like me it has great eye relief.  I don’t see how the Vantage Endurance could be much better.

The Vantage is great binocular.

[10x] I bought this to keep in my daypack and near my backdoor for bird watching or dark sky viewing while camping. It does great at both. For astronomy I could see the football shape of Saturn and seeing binary stars like double double (though only resolving 2/4 dots).
