$95.97 $149.71

The 32mm Hawke Sport Optics Riflescope Honeycomb Sunshade 32mmis designed to shield the objective lens from glare and lens flare that can affect your ability to clearly see and identify game and may alert your quarry to your presence, while helping to limit internal reflections within the scope's optics. Its grid design also allows the shade to be made extremely short while still providing proper glare resistance, which reduces or eliminates snag hazards while moving through the bush. This sunshade will fit all 2015 and later 32mm objective models of Hawke Optics collection scopes, but is not compatible with the Frontier 30 range, XB/XB1 crossbow scopes, or 24mm objectives. Hawke metal flip-up covers will not fit on the honeycomb sunshade.

[0.04 lb] My original scope was bundled with my rifle. It would not hold zero from day to day. This Hawke has been zeroed in once and it hasn't changed one iota! It makes shooting much more fun when you can actually hit what you're aiming at. I went with the 32 mm objective lens because I could use my existing rings. It fit perfectly and took all of 10 minutes to mount to the rifle. You can't go wrong with this IF it fits your application.

[32mm] If you are in the market for a small binocular with top-of-the-line performance this, is it.

I have several old binoculars a Meade 7 x 50 porro, a Tasco 10 x 25 and Bushnell 10 X 25 and which like me were getting are old.

A friend recently became interested in bird watching and I did the research.  As I live in the Houston area and at the edges of both the Central and Mississippi migratory bird flyways in the U.S. and live on a large tract of land, I have the opportunity to see a lot of different birds.

As my old Meade was becoming harder to focus, I looked at the current market of ED binoculars and saw the Celestron NatureDX 8 X 42 model.  Like many reviews it is fantastic binocular.  I also decided to replace my small truck binoculars with something better than the Tasco 10 X 25 or the Bushnell and found the Hawk Vantage 8 X 32 model and I ordered it.  I also gave some thought to the Hawke Endurance ED model and almost sent an email to B & H to change out my order but I didn’t.

Upon arriving I did a comparison of the Celestron NatureDX against the Hawke Vantage.  I cannot see the difference between the two.  I can clearly see the difference between the Vantage the Tasco and the Bushnell. So, I drove out to the coast to look at the coastal shore birds.  The Vantage is a very good binocular.  It is lite, well built, easy to focus, very good light and for an eye glasses wearing person like me it has great eye relief.  I don’t see how the Vantage Endurance could be much better.

The Vantage is great binocular.

[32mm] Mounted this scope on my HW50S.  Its the perfect size and weight. The AO and ocular focus rings are very stiff, which I prefer since its less likely to shift during shooting sessions.  The optics are clear, and I love the Mil-Dot reticle.  The scope was very easy to zero.  My setup is to shoot 1 low at point blank, then knowing Im on paper to zero at 10 yards, and then fine tune zero at 20 yards.  Already gone thru a tin of pellets terrorizing soup and soda cans, and the zero hasnt changed. All-in-all, Id say that this is a really nice scope for the money.

[0.04 lb] This 4 power Hawke is a real “sleeper!”
I just put a 22 Magnum Barrel on my CZ455, since I don’t have anything in that caliber
I didn’t want to put much money in a scope as this was going to be a “beater” that I carried in the Swamp while on a boat.
A 4x with AO is unusual in that you usually get that on a variable power. I didn’t want too many functions, just a simple scope, but I would probably be shooting squirrels, rabbits, alligators, snakes, turtles: at ranges of 10 feet to a maximum of 100 yards.
And an Adjustable Onjective on a fixed power would be perfect.
I found it a balanced look, attached to the 3/8 dovetail on the CZ455. Not too big.
I was amazed at the clarity and light gathering of this $70 scope. And the AO was the icing on the cake. Easy to rotate and so I left it set at about 27 yards(most of my shots)
It was perfect! I was getting 3/4 inch groups with the CCI Gamepoint 40 grain. Leaning against a tree for a rest. WOW!
So I just ordered another one for my newly arrived Ruger RAR 22 Magnum in the black synthetic stock —a real “plain Jane” better suited for “in the boat” duty. (My CZ was bumped up to be my squirrel gun!
One of my Best Buys!!
Try one and you’ll see!
Mitch
