Q: 10. is the titan-b waterproof?

A: Yes, I have had mine in water without issue. I do not know the specific specs but on page 11 of the 2015 SureFire catalog the information notes f course building rugged, virtually indestructible bodies is about keeping out the elements, so we seal out water and dust with O-ring and gasket seals. In the unlikely event that moisture gets past these defenses, we minimize potential harm with waterproof coatings on our electronics and by using gold and other premium non-corroding metals for electrical contacts and interfaces.

[1-300 lumens] I have owned many surefire products and always found them to be awesome. Their customer service is excellent although on the other coast, shipping is a drag. I have found a headlamp useful recently for tasks requiring two hands. I picked up a cheap one on a lark and found it useful but lacking in output. The surefire is a big step up. Great beam- oblong in appearance and extremely even. I like the variable output and the color. Bright enough for almost all tasks a headlamp is used for. If you want to do some type of speed sport at night, you may want to consider the 100 lumen model with a less desirable color balance but more power. For my needs, I prefer the better color of this model. The only thing that will take a bit of getting used to is the fact that it takes two hand to adjust the angle. Because the friction is so tight, I need two hands to adjust. A work around is to press the light against my forehead as I adjust the angle. It may loosen with use. I guess it is better to hold the angle than adjust too easily. I will use this light often as I wear it to bring firewood to my house. I heat exclusively with wood and make regular trips to the wood pile. The accurate color output allows me to identify species and dryness of the wood easily.

[4 oz / 113 g] I really like this light. I use it for work, camping and home projects. It is a little bigger than I was expecting. Not bad, though. I knew this going into it, but it is only 100 lumens. Which is a lot. But for the price, I was hoping they would cram a lot more into this thing. It's still plenty bright with a nice beam.

[1-300 lumens] I wore this for the goruck challenge and it survived a beating. It is waterproof and I put that to the test. It lasted all night at brightest setting under intermittent use. No negatives except it ain't cheap.

[1-300 lumens] Most hours of use are a book lamp, but it gets used a lot outside at night. I have half a dozen headlamps. None compare. As a book lamp it is reassuring that I have such a reliable light in the event of an emergency next to the bed. Also as a book lamp, it does not take up permanent nightstand, wall, or floor space. I've already bought a second one as a give for a friend. He now owes me, as he loves it and uses it as much as i do.

[4 oz / 113 g] Excellent Surefire build and craftsmanship and comfortable to wear. Light is more flood than spot and not quite as smooth and artifact free as my Surefire G2 Nitrolon. The variable output will be handy and works great. Only complaint I have is when turning the battery compartment to adjust the direction of beam up or down, it turns a little stiff. It may loosen up over time. It's a two-handed ordeal as of now.
