Our CMX-HDMI-SFPL also supports some custom resolutions but is designed to primarily support standard/non-custom resolutions as well. A: Yes, this tripod is compatible with the peak design plates.

Q: 9. Has anyone carried this on an airplane flight? It seems like the perfect travel tripod but I worry about the spikes with TSA.

A: I won't think it would be a problem, but if you had to, you could check it at the gate. Make sure you have it in a nice padded bag.
