A: The totally correct answer is I don't really know. On the other hand I see no reason why it should not work. I bought this filter in the 67mm size for my Canon EF-s 10-18mm lens for a camera with an APC size sensor. The Canon lens is equivalent to a16-28.8mm full frame lens while your Sony lens works out like a 15-27mm equivalent. I bought the low profile filter when I realized that my regular polarizer vignetted at 10mm. The new filter solved this problem. Even though your lens is a scant millimeter (equivalent) wider and the size is 5mm smaller I still believe that the filter will work for you without vignetting, which I assume is your concern. Looking at the geometry of the two lenses I think you will be safe.
