Q: 1. is the 15mm eye relief enough for a person that wears glasses?

A: Thanks for your interest in Hawke Sport Optics. Our Frontier HD X 8x42 models have a 18mm eye relief . Ideally when wearing eyeglasses 16mm -18mm of eye relief is perfect. 15mm can work for some guys just depending on the style they are wearing. If you have anymore questions feel free to contact use anytime. Have a great week,

Q: 5. Do these binoculars have a field flattener ?

A: They do not have a field flattener. However, These binoculars feature anti-reflection fully multicoated extra-low-dispersion (ED) apochromatic lenses with phase-correcting and dielectric coatings on BAK4 roof prisms. When these optical components are combined you will be presented with bright and clear high-contrast images with accurate colors and enhanced clarity without distortion or fringing—even at the extreme edges. Q: 7. Can this scope hold zero on a gamo G magnum 1250 springer air rifle ?

A: I can't speak from experience as I have never had the opportunity to try both items together. But I do believe the scope should have no problem holding zero. That's what is was made for.

Q: 8. nder "overview",it says :...with accurate colors and enhanced clarity without distortion or fringing—even at the extreme edge". while under "optical performence" it says :"...with limited edge distortion." Isn't there a contradiction between the two statements ?

Q: 9. Is this a grey market item?

A: The Hawke Sport Optics 10x42 Frontier ED X Binoculars have a Hawke Optics US lifetime warranty. The color is gray.

Q: 10. I am a glass wearer. The eye relief for 10x42 is 13mm. Will it be a problem? I will mostly use it for birdwatching. Or should i go with 8x42 one?

A: For monocular or binocular the lowest eye relief I recommend for people that wear glasses is 14mm or greater.

[0.28 lb] Wanted to fit a pistol scope to my air pistol, this turned out to be perfect. I don't like to use knobs for tightening. These Hawke mounts are fixed with hex screws. Much better.
