Q: 9. I am a glass wearer. The eye relief for 10x42 is 13mm. Will it be a problem? I will mostly use it for birdwatching. Or should i go with 8x42 one?

A: For monocular or binocular the lowest eye relief I recommend for people that wear glasses is 14mm or greater.

Q: 10. Does this require the charger bridge to attach to?

A: It only attaches to an unmodified SMLE Mk III rifle (.303 caliber only).

[30 mm] Fit perfectly! Mounted 3 X 9 Vortex Diamondback scope to a Ruger 10/22. Rubber pads protect the scope from getting scratched.

[Aluminum] Great for installing on long action rifles were the average scope tube makes it difficult to mount a scope rewards to adjust eye relief.

[0.35 lb] If you are in the market for a small binocular with top-of-the-line performance this, is it.

I have several old binoculars a Meade 7 x 50 porro, a Tasco 10 x 25 and Bushnell 10 X 25 and which like me were getting are old.

A friend recently became interested in bird watching and I did the research.  As I live in the Houston area and at the edges of both the Central and Mississippi migratory bird flyways in the U.S. and live on a large tract of land, I have the opportunity to see a lot of different birds.

As my old Meade was becoming harder to focus, I looked at the current market of ED binoculars and saw the Celestron NatureDX 8 X 42 model.  Like many reviews it is fantastic binocular.  I also decided to replace my small truck binoculars with something better than the Tasco 10 X 25 or the Bushnell and found the Hawk Vantage 8 X 32 model and I ordered it.  I also gave some thought to the Hawke Endurance ED model and almost sent an email to B & H to change out my order but I didn’t.

Upon arriving I did a comparison of the Celestron NatureDX against the Hawke Vantage.  I cannot see the difference between the two.  I can clearly see the difference between the Vantage the Tasco and the Bushnell. So, I drove out to the coast to look at the coastal shore birds.  The Vantage is a very good binocular.  It is lite, well built, easy to focus, very good light and for an eye glasses wearing person like me it has great eye relief.  I don’t see how the Vantage Endurance could be much better.

The Vantage is great binocular.
