[3.4 oz / 96.0 g] When I received these binoculars, I was amazed at how compact and light they were. I was even more amazed by their optical quality, even under poor lighting. They are very sharp across the whole field of view, image contrast and colour are excellent, no visible chromatic aberration and ergonomically are a joy to use .
The included semi hard case and strap are also good quality.
I was considering buying the 8x42 version which gets excellent reviews but decided on the more compact 8x32 version after reading the following reviews

The B&H web site incorrectly lists these as having a Lightweight Polycarbonate Chassis but Customer Service confirmed with Hawke Optics that they are in fact a Magnesium Alloy Chassis.

Order processing by B&H and shipping time to Australia was excellent.

Highly Recommended

[3.4 oz / 96.0 g] Wanted to fit a pistol scope to my air pistol, this turned out to be perfect. I don't like to use knobs for tightening. These Hawke mounts are fixed with hex screws. Much better.

[3.4 oz / 96.0 g] I wanted clarity for all distances, ease of use, close up focus (within 4 ft - I can focus on and magnify the ground at my feet while standing!) as well as far distances, not to heavy, easy and quick to sweep gaze and change focus at where I'm looking, solid feel, end lens covers that don't fall off, able to use with/without eye glasses, nice grip in B hands, no fall out at the edges of vision. This has it. Hard case great, light. Well designed binoculars. I'm no expert. I did not want to spend over $150. I scoured reviews and best of this year and that - much information, but I wrote down what they said I should try and get. The 8x magnification is perfect with the lighter weight than 10x. I am a slight woman in 60's, the regular neck strap seems fine. I have no idea what the ED does compared to others but the light, focus and clarity is great in these. I am an artist and visual clarity means a lot to me. B & H were excellent, replied to email question within a day, shipped by express which was 'free.' No complaints.

[0.29 lb] If you are in the market for a small binocular with top-of-the-line performance this, is it.

I have several old binoculars a Meade 7 x 50 porro, a Tasco 10 x 25 and Bushnell 10 X 25 and which like me were getting are old.

A friend recently became interested in bird watching and I did the research.  As I live in the Houston area and at the edges of both the Central and Mississippi migratory bird flyways in the U.S. and live on a large tract of land, I have the opportunity to see a lot of different birds.

As my old Meade was becoming harder to focus, I looked at the current market of ED binoculars and saw the Celestron NatureDX 8 X 42 model.  Like many reviews it is fantastic binocular.  I also decided to replace my small truck binoculars with something better than the Tasco 10 X 25 or the Bushnell and found the Hawk Vantage 8 X 32 model and I ordered it.  I also gave some thought to the Hawke Endurance ED model and almost sent an email to B & H to change out my order but I didn’t.

Upon arriving I did a comparison of the Celestron NatureDX against the Hawke Vantage.  I cannot see the difference between the two.  I can clearly see the difference between the Vantage the Tasco and the Bushnell. So, I drove out to the coast to look at the coastal shore birds.  The Vantage is a very good binocular.  It is lite, well built, easy to focus, very good light and for an eye glasses wearing person like me it has great eye relief.  I don’t see how the Vantage Endurance could be much better.

The Vantage is great binocular.

[0.29 lb] I am very happy with my Hawke binoculars 8x32). I've only had them a few weeks, but the few times I have used them I was impressed with the quality of the optics. The image is bright and sharp even when the subject is in the shadows. They are very well built but light weight. I would highly recommend these to anyone ready to upgrade to better binoculars on a limited budget. You can get better but you'll pay almost double what you can get these for. B&H had the best price and delivery was prompt (and free). I will return to B&H for my future photo or optical needs. Thank you.

[0.29 lb] I have an Arca-Swiss clamp for my spotting scope so I can use the scope on any of my tripods and not need an additional one when engaged in wildlife photography. The special locking mechism of the Hawke table top tripod allows for firmly locking the Arca-Swiss clamp in place and having no issues with the heavy scope pivoting on the tripod. This is not provided with the other table top tripods that are designed for use with lightweight cameras.
