A: The sistem allows 3axis stabilization for sigma art lenses that I used. From sigma, I only have art series lenses and there is no stabilization inside the lenses.

A: I have not used any of the above lenses. But I did work with Canon 50mm f/1.4,Canon 24-105 f/4L Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L vII and as intended Sigma 24-35mm f/2 and Sigma 150-600mm C worked fine on A7RII.

A: I had that lens, I found that I had some issues grabbing focus sometimes. If you're going to be shooting anything that moves a lot like children or animals you might run into issues. I also have a 35mm ART and find it searching for focus in those situations and in low light I see constant searching.

A: Yes, you are correct; when using an APS-C lens on the Sony Alpha a7 Mirrorless Digital Camera, the default mode is for the camera to activate its APS-C Crop Mode, which crops the full-frame sensor down to the APS-C size. This both reduces the maximum resolution captured by the camera (as the camera is using a smaller portion of its full-frame sensor. On the Sony a7, this would reduce the 24 megapixel sensor capture down to 10 megapixels. You may deactivate the APS-C Crop Mode feature to use the full sensor, but this would give you an image with a large black vignette around the edges where the smaller image circle of the lens blocks light from reaching the outer edges of the larger full-frame sensor. As when using an APS-C lens on an APS-C camera, when using the APS-C Crop Mode, there would be a 1.5x crop factor (the 18mm lens would become a 27mm lens as you stated above).

In my experience with the 18-35 it'll still work without an update, it just works a little better with the update.
