The Sigma MC-11 SA-Mount to Sony E Lens Adapterenables the use of Sigma MC-11 SA-Mount to Sony E Lens AdapterSA-mount lenses on Sony E-mount mirrorless camera bodies, and maintains full lens performance, including autofocus and auto-exposure, as well as in-camera correction technologies. An integrated LED can be used to display select Sigma lens compatibility with the adapted camera body, and the adapter also supports in-camera image stabilization. In order to maintain a high degree of image quality, the interior of the adapter is flocked to reduce reflections, and it also retains full Exif data to benefit post-production and file management.

A: No, its just a tube without any glass, it will not change the mangnification.

A: only i tried to use it once with a lens sigma 18 200 and not worked at all. But becasase I live in uruguay I not tried to change it, maybe my lens was old

A: A Tokina lens will connect up with the Sigma adapter but we cannot guarantee full function regarding focus. Some lenses play nice some don't, it depends on the lens.

[0.705 lb] I'm using the Sigma MC-11 with both Sigma 35 and 50 ART lenses on Sony A7ii works good or as expected. Tried the Canon L lenses and they shifted ever so slightly out of focus once focus was obtained 5

[0.705 lb] I bought this adapter because I already shoot with Canon mount glass with a Metabones adapter on a a7Rii, but all of my primes are Sigma Art series lenses, so the full functionality of the autofocus features was worth the buy. I have never shot with native Sony glass on the camera, so I don't have that baseline use experience to compare it to. I'll just say that it works as advertised and I have had no problems with it. Additionally, I have had nothing but problems using my Canon 16-35 2.8 L II with the Metabones adapter. It would get one or two shots before the camera would freeze and I would just unlock and clock the mount until I heard the shutter release and move on. I don't know if it is a common problem, but conversations with Metabones customer service had yielded no solutions. I tried it with the Sigma adapter and have had no issues. It acts just like the Metabones with all of my Canon L glass. It seems like the Sigma adapter is a comparable and cheaper solution to the Metabones adapter. 5

[Sony E] I used this converter for my Sigma Art Primes, as well as my manual focus Zeiss lenses. In all cases it worked as expected. For my Sigma Art lenses, autofocus works smoothly and quickly (like my native 55 1.8). For the Zeiss lenses, aperture and other data is transferred well to the camera. 5

[0.705 lb] I have this attached to a Sony a6000 and have been using with the Sigma 35mm Art. Focus and Aperture work perfect. As in the description of the item states It does not work with all Sigma lenses and does not work with any Canon lenses. Yes I tried. But other than that it its nice to be using the 35mm on the sony camera. 5

[Sony E] Sigma's MC-11 turns my beloved 50MM 1.4 Art lens on a Sony A7S into a fully functional Sony lens to take advantage of ALL the great Sony automation and focusing features - ESPECIALLY AUTOFOCUS This is a Genius product. CANON needs to do the same so their fabulous lenses can be used on Sony bodies as well as Canon. Worth every penny 5

[0.705 lb] The MC-11 on my A7rii or 6300 opens up all functions in the AF toolbox for Sony. It works on several lenses now and list will increase with firmware updates. Super Stoked!!! 5

[0.705 lb] I got a chance to test the combination of the MC-11, Sony A6300, and a Canon EF mount 50mm f/1.4 ART lens at WPPI a couple weeks ago. it seems that Sigma may have stumbled into the secret sauce to unlock the full potential of AF features through the use of the MC-11. Not sure what Metabones is doing but they appear asleep at the wheel on this release. I got to shoot a little bit with the Sony A6300 and the 50 ART and everything worked as if the Sigma lens was actually an FE/E-Mount lens made by Sony. Even eye tracking worked flawlessly. If this combination will wake up the 120-300mm f/2.8 to Sony, then Sigma suddenly has serious skin in the mirrorless game. At WPPI, only the Art 50 had the firmware update that allowed the full functionality of the MC-11. Hopefully I will get to test the 120-300 and 150-500 lenses in the near future on the A7RII and A6300. 5
