Designed by JBL Control 28-1 Indoor/Outdoor Speaker Pair Blackare two-way 8" indoor/outdoor monitors featuring weather-protected circuitry, natural and powerful representations of the frequency spectrum, black enclosures, and JBL's proprietary InvisiBall mounting hardware. This hardware allows you to install the speakers through a hidden access point behind its logo badge. As such, the Control 28-1 suitable for venues, health clubs, theme parks, cafes, or anywhere where foreground/background music—and paging—is a necessity.

These monitors are capable of handling 240W of programmatic material at 8 Ohms, and feature a built-in multi-tap transformer for operation on distributed speaker lines. With an SPL of 112 dB, you can blast these speakers pretty loudly as well, while their cone geometry ensures a pleasurable listening experience in both on- and off-axis situations. Additionally, their PEI diaphragms render a smooth high-frequency response. But sound is not the only consideration: Kapton voice coil formers, JBL's WeatherEdge rubberized extensions, and a durable cabinet construction provide protection against heat, rain, wind, or anything else the elements might throw at you in the coming years.

Also, while the Control 28-1 comes in a black finish, it doesn't have to stay that way: these speakers accept a variety of finishes and pigments to match any surrounding.

A: Output power 100 watts at 8 ohms depending on your power amp you could daisy chain up to 4 speakers in one channel of you power amplifier. just keep in mind that the more speakers you add to a single 8 ohm speaker the impedance witll drop from each speaker demanding more power from power amp.8, 6, 4 & 2 ohms on speakers when daisy chanied. this speaker is also 70volt compatible with a 70 volt system you can daisy chain as much speakers as you want but also depends on how much power the 70volt has amp has. A: That depends on your setup. A: Each speaker is 30 watts.

A: The JBL CSA 280Z Audio Amplifier (2 x 80W) B&H # JBCSA280Z would be a great choice, if you were using two of the JBL 67HC/T Narrow Coverage Pendant speakers at 8 ohms. If you are planning on installing several of the speakers, you can use the 70 volt transformers and tap them up to 60 watts each. In this case, the amp you require would be based on the total wattage needed when you add up the wattage of each speaker in your 70 volt system.

[33.5 lb] B&H came through big time with these speakers. They're installed on a rooftop bar. They cover the open space with full range sound. Compliments from the owner and managers of the bar. I would recommend these speakers anytime. I am using them as 70v and have 8 speakers covering the space. 5

[2-Way] I have had these for 2 years in New Hampshire on a deck - rain and snow. Then I retired to Nicaragua. For 6 years the speakers have been outside around the pool - and about 1/2 mile from the visible ocean. The grill (after 8 years) maybe needs a little touch up paint. The 4 screws under the grill and the 2 screws that hold in the wire-quick-disconnect on the back are rusted. They came out fine to be replaced. The speakers have always worked perfectly. 5
