Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this compatible with Dante?

A: The SoundTools WallCAT WC851 Analog Audio Over Cat5 Wall Plate (White), BH #SOWC851W, is not Dante compatible. It will easily send or receive four channels of XLR, AES3, DMX or intercom over Ethernet cabling to multiple locations.

Q: 2. it's 4k support?

A: Yes - if high-speed HDMI cables that support 4K are utilized.

Q: 3. I have three Shure Cardioid Boundary Condenser Mics and would like to mix them into one line which will be plugged into a computer's mic-in. Will this mixer work for my needs?

A: The Sescom 3-Input, 1-Output Passive XLR Mixer will mix and sum the signal of three microphones as desired, but because it is passive, will not supply phantom power to condenser microphones.

Q: 4. is the connection with USB type B (1.0) compatible with 2.0,2.1? compatiable with USB type C using adaptor?

A: Yes. You can connect the included cable to a USB -C port, using an adapter like this: https://bhpho.to/2ZVqVWw

Q: 5. Can the Whirlwind PressBox6 be fed by the LMPRE mic preamp to make an inexpensive mult box?

A: Yes, that set-up should work fine.

Q: 6. This unit is rev2 or rev3?

A: Rev 3

Q: 7. Can this do a stereo mix out? And if so, can it feed the stereo mix to an iPhone? Or an iPad?

A: Yes, you can create a stereo mix using the Roland GO:MIXER Pro-X which can output to an iPhone or iPad.

Q: 8. Can this be used to mix multiple headphone outputs into one headphone output or is this only intended for line in/out?

A: Although the Rolls MX41B could technically be used for headphone signals, the impedance of its inputs & outputs is not the same as the typical impedance range of headphones. This may lead to undesirable results and lower audio quality.

Q: 9. connecting sound from computer through POD DI to go through sound system?

A: You need an audio mixer with XLR inputs to use this PodDI, but yes, this is used to output audio from your laptop or music player through your PA.

Q: 10. 1) Can this simultaneously output to both USB and TRRS? 2) Can it be powered by USB and output to TRRS? (No battery operation)

A: 1) Yes, you can output through both USB and TRRS at the same time on the Roland GO:MIXER PRO-X Audio Mixer for Smartphones. 2) Yes, the Roland GO:MIXER PRO-X Audio Mixer for Smartphones takes USB power or battery power and can output through TRRS at the same time.

[1] Great device if you want to run multiple inputs (PC, record player, cassette player) through one set of speakers. Also delivered quickly.

[0.4 lb] My workstation consists of many computers and one set of high end desktop speakers. having access to quickly control the volume and having them out to one set of speakers is exactly what I needed. This does exactly that. I just wish I had thought to come look for this sooner. The only gripe (and it is really nothing more than a gripe), is that I wish the inputs were either on the side or back, having the cords coming out the front is not great for the aesthetic.

[1] At first I was apprehensive about buying this product, but I did it anyway. There were some reviews about how this mixer lowered the output to levels that would be too low for multiple computers. I did not find this to be the case at all. The product is sturdy, and has a good output for mixing multiple computers and game systems. I am stoked.

[0.4 lb] I have been looking for a mini mixer to interface a 3.5 mm stereo source and a XLR mic input. This box is perfect! It is built well and sums both devices to a lowZ mic input and it has a Ground lift to boot.

[0.4 lb] I use this to play music over arena PA systems for kids hockey games. Works great as all we have available to us is an XLR mic, simply hook this up with an iPod/iPad and away you go. I always use it with a line out dock connector, NOT THE HEADPHONE JACK, and it works 100%. The gain adjustment on the line in is great for making sure the sound is not over powering. Excellent compact design.

[0.4 lb] This unit is just the right size and has phono jacks so no RCA adpater needed. The sliders easy to see and operate particularly for a quick change of audio source.
I bought this so I won't have keep swapping the mini phono plug on the jacks of my powered computer speakers. I have computer audio, mobile phone, and radio running through it. Now I can quickly turn down my music or radio to take a meeting on the work computer. Also I can hear audio alerts from the computer as well as music/radio. I have the mixer to instantaneously get the volume right from each source so I'm not tweaking software volume controls.
I wanted a passive device to keep my desk simple and need batteries or inject hum from another AC/DC converter. Yes it will drop signal level into low impedance loads like headphones. All passive mixers will.

The review who gave it 2 stars for that reason just bought the wrong thing. If you want to drive low impedance loads you need a low impedance source: powered mixer or those big low resistance attenuators for old school built in speaker systems.
Also cool manual even includes a schematic.

[0.4 lb] Since I do not have access to the amplifier volume control, I was afraid that the podMIX might attenuate the mike input, but there is no noticable change when it is added into the circuit. Could not be better.
