We have had some individuals mess with the set-up and do not have instructions to get it back functioning. What are the orange high-lighted inputs A, B, C, and D. What should be plugged into one or all of them? The octopus harness seems easy enough to figure out. If there is a user's manual for the Whirlwind, I sure would like to have one. Thanks, Clint

A: The return jacks on a snake generally connect to the outputs of a mixer either mains or monitor for connection to amps, powered monitor speakers or on occasion a headphone monitoring system.

A: The distance from the start of the fan to the end is 2.5'.

[0.15 lb] I am loving my new XLR cable. I came into B&H not knowing which cable i needed and how much they were. The adviser in the pro audio department went through a few options and I picked the Whirlwind 6 ft cable. It was a great price and great quality. [1] I was looking for an interface for my MP3 player to my digital remote stage box, PA speaker, and PA announcer booth at the stadium for background music during intermission. The best thing about this DI is it's portability, and I only use one input to my sound board or other components. The Isopod does not attenuate the output signal like a regular passive DI box. The signal is clear and distinct. No noticeable RF noise. Great economical item to have in your audio inventory. 5

[0.15 lb] It is perfect in every way that I'll ever use it, which is connecting a wireless mic to a small mixer (Shure PGXD to Mackie 402-VLX3). I don't know how flexible it is when it's cold, but I get the impression that it'll be better than most. 5

[0.15 lb] This does more than merely adapting from 3.5mm to XLR. For most PA uses, where one needs to run output from an iPad or other portable device into a mixer, it should be mono and balanced. A splitter adapter cable that goes from XLR to stereo 3.5mm male is ONLY suitable for converting from XLR to dual channel mono out via 3.5mm. The process doesn't work in reverse unless you use a transformer like this that specifically sums the two stereo channels to create a proper mono mix (not just one stereo channel, which may be missing important parts of the mix that are in the other channel). This works perfectly, and I use it several times per year. 5
