Trijicon AccuPoint 2.5-12.5x42 Riflescope Green Duplexengineered the Trijicon AccuPoint 2.5-12.5x42 Riflescope Green Duplexas a riflescope that can serve as a standard of durability and performance for both tactical and hunting riflescopes of its class. The optics feature multi-coatings that deliver clear and crisp images with a great level of detail. The optical elements are carefully designed and cut from high quality optical glass and polished for low-distortion performance. To expand the range of your effectiveness to most lighting conditions like dusk or dawn, the riflescope also features a wide 42mm objective lens. To empower you with laser precision when making your shots, the optic is enhanced with the Green Standard Duplex Crosshair Illuminated Reticle. It offers four tapered posts, solid crosshair, and illuminated center dot. The illumination offers a fiber optic day illumination option with variable brightness and a tritium lamp for illumination at night.

The housing is engineered from durable 6061-T6 aluminum and coated with a hard anodized finish. It features a 30mm maintube, lockable and resettable adjustment turrets with push-pull caps. The push-pull caps allow for easy finger-operated adjustments and have fine numerical scales for accurate visual references. The knurled easy-focus eyepiece features a long 3.9" eye relief. The overall design incorporates a fogproof and waterproof (submersible to 10') performance and will withstand extreme conditions for years of service.

  A: Hi Michael - all of the Swarovski Optik illuminated rifle scopes are manufactured and assembled in our factory in Austria. Specifically, in the town of Absam, which is near Innsbruck in the Austrian state of Tyrol.Here in the US at our Repair and Assembly facility in Rhode Island, we do assemble the 1-inch main tube Z3 and Z5 rifle scopes from components shipped here. Since the majority of 1-inch rifle scopes are sold here in the US, it is more cost-efficient that way and frees up manufacturing capacity back in Absam.
  
  Q: 8. Does it require a license to be exported like BIS?
  
  A: We are not permitted sell most rifle scopes outside the US. The one's that require paper work will say so on the product page.

  A: I can't speak from experience as I have never had the opportunity to try both items together. But I do believe the scope should have no problem holding zero. That's what is was made for.

[2.5 to 12.5x] This scope is perfect for the kind of close range white tail deer hunting that I do in the North East. Where visibility is usually less than 100yrds amongst the brush where I prefer to hunt. Clarity and brightness of the image is perfect. Plus its a Trijicon, so the build quality is exceptional and very robust. This is my second one of this model. I now have one on my 12 guage rifled slug barrel and 1 on my 50 caliber muzzleloader. Having both weapons with the same high performing optic is very reassuring and familiar whilst in the field. I would recommend this optic to anyone looking for a battery free red dot at 1x and standard duplex reticle at 4x. B&H came through with the best price and fast shipping and great comms. 5

[2.5 to 12.5x] I bought this scope to be used on a Savage 10 .308 hunting rifle. Let me say, the clarity on this scope is impressive. I've tried various Nikon, Bushnell, Redfield, and Zeiss scopes but this beats them all. The glass clarity is better than the Zeiss HD5 and it feels more sturdy. The illuminated reticle is helpful when shooting against a dark target such as a black paper target or animal. B & H has the best price hands down. I scoured the Internet and went to two gun shows and could not find a better price. Get this scope and you will not be disappointed. 5

[2.85 lb] If you are looking for a long range riflescope, this is a winner. It is the newer model of the 5-20x50 Accupoint line. This comes with everything that you need (Scope, high quality ocular and objective flip up caps, a sunshade and a neophrene cover). The elevation and windage is very easy to set, as is the parallax (which has yardage indicators). The glass is extremely clear, even better than the top of the line Nikon riflescopes that I own (and will never sell). This riflescope is a keeper, and will be passed down to my children. I purchased this on sale which for me was an extra incentive for me. I also looked at the Zeiss Conquest V4, but I did not like that the parallax turret only had two numbered yardage indicators (50 yards and Infinity). The yardage between 50 and Infinity is indicated by rectangular outlines, so you have to guess at what yardage your target is located. The windage and elevation turrets were also somewhat difficult to adjust. 5

[30 mm] Make no mistake. This scope is a big 56mm and a bit heavy but the payoff is a huge, bright view. I mostly hunt hog and coyote during twilight and night. I'd say this is probably not the scope you want if you can only hunt during the day but if you can legally hunt at night this scope is a significant improvement over a 40mm or even a 50mm scope. It's not gen 3 night vision but if there is some moon or sky glow it's quite effective.This illuminated reticle is understated and very effective at precise shooting or longer ranges. During the day with a light background you don't really notice that it's illuminated but against a dark target the glowing dot marks the center of your cross hairs. As the light fades the fiber optic automatically adjusts the dot's brightness so well that I don't understand why they made it adjustable. At night the dot gently glows bright enough to be clearly visible but not enough to hurt your night vision. I am still amazed that the illumination works so perfectly without adjustment, no on/off and no batteries.There is noticeable chromatic aberration around the perimeter but the image is sharp in the center and it is very noticeably brighter than my 40mm and 50mm Nikon Buckmasters and 50mm Redfield scopes. 5
