It is only in being used an averaged sized room so it doesn't need to go any higher than that. I would say as long as it is not clipping you should be OK. I would run whatever you will typically play through it, find where it starts to clip and then back it down to where it stops. That would be a good max setting in my opinion. Also, check the user manual for your speakers for limits. You definitely don't want to blow them. I hope this helps.

A: I use this amp as a talk-back and monitor amp driving 2 JBL P60 speakers and it has plenty of power. I don't know if it would drive a sub-woofer. It all depends on the size and wattage of the Bose I guess. If it's over 250W it might not do the job.
