RED cameras have a 4 Pin LEMO, not 5 Pin.http://bit.ly/2hI7TYMWe do have B&H #RECAZERXEPIC, which is a TRS 3.5mm to 4 Pin Lemo. This cable may work, but you really will want to consult directly with Tentacle for their opinion on the matter first.

A: The cable will give you TC out of the SD machines, but I do not believe that the 5D can jam sync internal TC in the camera through a mic input with an AGC. Use a TC slate (Movieslate on an iPad?) which you can jam to the SD machines using this cable, show the camera the slate when you roll, and this will get you close enough to sync double system .wav files in post.

A: This cable is designed for timecode use only and for connection to smartphones.

[24" (61 cm)] We needed a lav mic that had a Cardioid pickup pattern, durability, with a natural true to source sound quality. This microphone delivered on all points. And the gain before feedback aspect was an enormous bonus. Omni directional pickup pattern s on a lav mic is what is usually suggested. But in a live situation with a 40,000 watt pa, cardioid is definitely the way to go. We are very pleased with the results and will be replacing all of our lav mics with this model. 5

[24" (61 cm)] Video always lags real time audio by about 1/15 second. You can often ignore it, or delay the audio to eliminate it altogether. The Shogun 7 records up to 4 cameras plus the switched program video. Injecting the sound at this point minimizes the lag. If you do it in a computer, for example, the video latency is not only much greater, but inconsistent depending on the processor and I/O loading. I record separately and sync in post. With this cable, you can use balanced outputs from the mixer, and all the videos are in sync. Thats less work at the bench. 5

[24" (61 cm)] As with many things Tilta makes, a decent quality and a competitive price. These cables are far more from other brands, so I use this to power smallHD monitors which works well. I wish the cable wasn't as long on the connection point - they protrude quite a lot, but they have worked well so far. 5
