The 16 x 16 3G-SDI Video Routing Switcher from Matrix Switch has 16 inputs and 16 outputs. It provides re-clocking for standard 3G/HD/SD rates with automatic bypass for non-standard rates between 20 Mb/s and 3 Gb/s and pass all SDI embedded audio/ancillary data. The switcher supports output mute. Switch on vertical sync is provided with the sync reference input with a pass-through connector and provides support for tri-level sync and NTSC/PAL black burst signals.

The routing switcher features several options for control and system integration. A built-in webpage interface offers a convenient method for control and configuration using a PC or mobile device (Interactive Demo). In addition to the MASCOT protocol, there is also support for some common 3rd party protocols.

Additional control interfaces on this router include USB, RS-485, RS-232, AUX GPIO, and TCP/IP over the Ethernet interface. Remote Panels can also be used with this router for remote control up to a virtually unlimited distance over TCP/IP. In addition, the switcher features a panel with status lights.

A: Just as long as it is connected to the AC power supply it should work regardless of the battery level.

A: The Allen & Heath 16x16 Audio Matrix Processor with 8x8 Local Analog I/O does not include a Dante card with purchase. The AH-M-SQ-Dante-A card must be added separately if needed.

A: It is out understand that the AVMATRIX 8 x 8 3G-SDI Matrix Switcher can be remotely controlled via ip and software.

Q: 4. Does this matrix support a single output shown across multiple TVs - like a video-wall?

A: The BZBGear 16x16 4K UHD 18Gb/s HDMI Video Matrix with EDID/Downscaling/CEC doesn't have the option to stretch a single output to all screens.

Q: 5. Can the switching be controlled by midi?

A: No, the Freakshow HD 3G-SDI A/B/C/D Switch with Internal LiPo Battery will not support MIDI.

Q: 6. Can one source send the signal to the two output channels?

A: A single source may be routed to two displays (two outputs).

Q: 7. This is a synced model? It is seamless switching?

A: This is not a seamless switcher.

Q: 8. Is the audio mute function available through the web interface? We want to mute the audio on inputs until the music on the video feed stops playing.

A: Mute is available on the web interface but for me it changes the screen to black and mutes audio.

Q: 9. Can this handle HDMI 2.0a or just HDMI 2.0b?

A: The BZBGEAR 16x16 4K UHD 18Gb/s HDMI Video Matrix with EDID/Downscaling/CEC is compliant up to HDMI 2.0b and can handle 2.0a as well.

Q: 10. Can this covert to 1080i or 720p?

A: No, the BZBGEAR 16x16 4K UHD 18Gb/s HDMI Video Matrix with EDID/Downscaling/CEC cannot downconvert to 1080i or 720p.

[Status] Quality is excellent. Remote is useless, doesn't affect my 5 star review. I never use the remotes during trial. Easy to use UI, works friendly with DAs and Monitors. 5

[16] I was skeptical that this was actually going to work, but it said it passed 3-G SDI signal in an 8x8 format matrix. AND IT WORKS GREAT! Easy to install, operate and best of all- delivers! And at a fraction of the cost of several other SDI matrix brands. I have my iMac, Security Camera Feeds, and Black Magic SSD Recorder hooked up to this (HDMI to SDI converter) all going to 7 Televisions and 1 Projector (SDI to HDMI converted) all giving off a great HD picture. I recommend it. 5

[Status] This is awesome. Passes all signals from SDI inputs to SDI outputs. Easy to navigate. I've bought three of these already and we are now adding them to estimates for clients. Cost thousands less competitors. If you need 12x12 or 20x20 go with Black Magic Design, if you only need 8x8, use this one instead! 5

[16] I used this one on my Sony AX2000 camcorder for a play I was recording. I needed a monitor that was lower than the camcorder and this was also larger. I found the HDMI connector works best. The composite was not clear at all and color washed out. I have a monitor already and needed an extra one for another camcorder. Can't beat the price. and the quality is just fine for what i do. 5
