[Glass] It is easy to install and adds additional protection to the back screen. As the screen can't be reversed to protect it while in the camera bag or when hanging on a camera strap banging on your side it's useful protection. Note: this GX7 does not cover the screen on the GX9. The G9 protecting screen however does fit the GX9.

[0.05 lb] The front of the box said it's for a Fujifilm X70 but there's a tiny sticker on the back that reads Panasonic G85/FZ2500. I was kinda hesitant to open it and put it on my G85 but I didn't wait this long and get the wrong product. Surprisingly, it fit perfect! So easy to install and a joy to use. Works very well. [Glass] I got this for my GH4 and it works perfectly. The only thing that I was not 100% happy about is that it only fits 1 battery in the grip (which I think is common to all the grips for GH4). You can still have one battery in the camera while using the grip so you are using 2 batteries. This is not too bad because of the great battery life of the Panasonic GH4 batteries. It's a bit of a pain when replacing the batteries because they are in different locations and you would need to remove the grip to replace the second one. This is the same as the original Panasonic grip.

[Glass] I just received and installed this screen protector. While it will take some time before I can say much about the durability, the initial install and fit are nearly perfect.

I spent a good amount of time with a bright light and microfiber cloths to ensure that the screen was free of dust before install. The cleaning wipe included with the screen protector worked very well and seemed to have taken care of anything that remained while leaving no residue.


After carefully angling the screen protector into place, I found absolutely no bubbles or defects in the visible area of the camera screen. There does seem to be some slight imperfections in the adhesion layer on the side of the protector where the plastic protective layer peeled off, but it's outside of the visible area of the camera screen a not too noticeable. For a screen protector install, I'm going to call it as close to perfect as possible.



The protector does not seem to have impacted the responsiveness of the touch screen or clarity of the image at all. Reflections seem to be no different than the bare display.


The only real downside I have is that it would have been nice if it had had a protector for the top display.

Install is the easiest and fastest thing to do.

[Glass] Great for taking vertical pictures. Makes it more comfortable and camera adjustments are at your fingertips. The fit is right on, even has built in storage for protective covers so they won’t get lost.

Must uncouple unit to charge camera battery is a downside.

Overall very satisfied.
