I replaced mine with 3/8th-16 bolts, the little bearings work fine with them!

The wheel diameter of these Glide Gear I would say is approximately 2 . They are made of a very hard rubber-like material. They should work fine on PVC as well as stainless or chrome dolly track. I will alert the B&H Webteam to get more information from Glide Gear.
