The Kowa HC-V Series C-Mount 12.5mm f/1.4-8 Ruggedized Megapixel Fixed Lens is designed for use in high vibration and high shock environments. It employs a specialized mechanical design to guard against strong vibrations and shocks. The lens is designed for use with up to 1” sensors and utilizes 2-way reversible nut design to tightly lock the focus adjustment ring in place.

[4.58 oz (130 g)] The 4MM lens gives a better view than the 8MM. I'm using the Arecont Vision AV20275DL to get a 180 view of areas of a park. The smaller lens gives up distance for a better wider viewing angle. I've tested the 2.8, 4, 6 and 8mm, the 4mm seems to be the sweet spot. These are OEM lenses and worked perfectly as a substitution for the 8MM. 5

[M35.5 x 0.5] Great wide angle lens with extreme light sensitivity! Super affordable which makes the build quality a little questionable. This does not affect picture quality though. Great lens that gets the job done. I used it for machine vision applications. 5

[-45.9 mm] A great, sharp ultra wide lens for the BMPCC with low chromatic abberation and distortion. It covers the BMPCC and Panasonic GH4 4K sensor. Downside is that this lens has no front filter thread, but if you search diligently enough one of the anamorphic lens holders will clamp onto it. 5

[0.98' (0.3 m)] I used this lens on a cross-country road trip, using the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera on a suction mount inside the cabin of a truck. Even looking through the window glass, when I switched lenses from a high end Nikkor Zoom to the Kowa 6mm, during the edit, you could see the marked jump in acuity. Given the lack of filter potential (a weakness for a native ISO 800 camera) I could only use this lens at the very beginning and end of the day when shooting in the truck. There was no room for a matte box system, needed to get an ND working. This lens will stand up to most any prime lens, and is a welcome (wide angle, finally!) addition to any pro shooting situation with the Pocket Cinema Camera. 5
