The 150 x 170mm LEE Filters Hard-Edge Graduated ND Set 150x170mmis a versatile kit containing 1-stop, 2-stop, and 3-stop graduated neutral density filters that are compatible with a LEE Filters SW150-series filter holder. Each filter within this kit helps to darken specific areas of an image, such as bright skies, while allowing for a normal, unaffected exposure in the other regions of the image. Each filter is densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle, with a very hard-edged line of transition between the dense and clear areas. A neutral density filter with a very hard-edged line of transition is particularly useful for images such as seascapes which include very defined horizon lines. Its sharp transition allows for precise separation between two areas of an image.

These filters are constructed from optical-quality resin for clarity and color fidelity. For storing and transporting each filter in the LEE Filters 150 x 170mm Very Hard-Edge Graduated Neutral Density Filter Set, a padded pouch is included.

A: Yes you can use it with LEE Filters LEE100 Filter Holder B&H # LE100FH and LEE Filters 82mm Wide-Angle Lens Adapter Ring for 100mm System Filter Holder B&H # LEARWA82

Q: 2. will the lee filter fit the COKIN xpro holder?

A: Sorry, I wouldn't know. I use Lee Holder

Q: 3. Can I use this filter for the eclipse? If so, does it need an adapter?

A: Technically, yes, you could use it, but the sun will may likely still be overexposed. To get a properly exposed sun, you need a special solar eclipse filter that is far darker. Even with the solar eclipse filter, never use the optical view finder to frame the shot and always wear specialized solar eclipse glasses.

Q: 4. Hello, does this cut out infrared light(IR Pollution)?

A: No this is only a neutral density filter, you would need an IR or an IR Cut filter.

Q: 5. Will this filter fit in the Vu 150mm filter holder?

A: While not tested, we feel that there should be no issue using this filter in that holder.

Q: 6. Is this a screw-on ND filter?

A: Yes, the LEE Filters 72mm Elements Variable ND Filter (6-9-Stop) is a screw-in 72mm filter.

Q: 7. Hi, there is a little soft thing around the edges of the filter to seal the light. But there is still big gap I can see, so how it suppose to seal the light then? appreciated any comment. Thanks.

A: There are two slots that the filter can go in. Be sure to put the Lee Stopper in the slot that is the closer to the camera with the soft part towards the camera as well. Those two things should keep light from filtering in. Also, make sure that you cover the eyepiece either with tape or the cover provided by the camera mfg.

Q: 8. Is this a screw- on ND filter?

A: Yes, the Lee 72mm Elements Variable ND filter is a screw-on filter.

Q: 9. Do you see a blue or magenta tint with this filter?

A: Yes. That is true. I get blue tint with it. But if you shoot in RAW this can easily be corrected in post processing later.

Q: 10. Can these stack? Also, can these go over the wide angle lens?

A: No, the DJI Magnetic ND Filters Set for Osmo Pocket 3 is not stackable. These filters also cannot be used with the wide angle lens.
