[0.7 lb] This is my second QNAP NAS. I had a major hardware failure on my first one and it was sadly far outside of its warranty period. Despite being out of warranty, QNAP support was very quick to help and assisted me in creating a plan to migrate to new hardware. When my new NAS arrived, the migration of my existing drives took a fair bit of work, but QNAP support stuck with me until everything was 100% perfect. This ultimately ended up requiring them to login into my NAS and taking on the task themselves to the tune of a couple of hours of work on their part.

[65 W] I upgraded from a 872XT and this system is amazing. I mostly use it for Plex and some drone video editing. I'm easily able to stream 8k transcoding multiple streams with no issues. My only complaint is it doesn't come with a 10gb Ethernet card just two 2.5gb ones. The old one came with a 10gb interface so this one part seems like a step backwards. Otherwise I'd recommend this unit with no qualms.

[0.7 lb] Using with Crucial 1Tb drives in RAID 5 and hitting 1.2Gb read for my home virtualization environment. I have older QNAPs that just keep running without failure.

[65 W] Recommended by my IT guy. I bought what he told me to buy. The whole NAS thing was new to me. Once I found the right path to archiving my files, I have been quite happy with the functionality. One thing: I bought two fast solid state drives that go in the first slot of the QNAP. The rest of the slots have slower drives for long term archiving. I NEVER use the fast drives. I have found it's still much faster to work using the computer's built in drive, and then store on the slow drives when I'm done.

[0.7 lb] I bought this because I was impressed with my TS-470 Pro which I thought after 10 years it might be a good idea to have another NAS. It's a huge leaning curve at age 66. I used 4tb seagate drives again and added 2 x 32 DDR4 along with two 1tb ssd. My main goal is to get Plex up and running. My only complaint so far is the lack of support for AC3 codec. The fully loaded NAS is very Quite. Funny thing happened 5 years ago the 470's HDMI output failed after lighting hit close by. I tried everything back then and finally gave up and move the security cameras to Hikvision NVR. While adding ram to this I looked at adding a 8gb stick to the 470 and reloaded OS I was shocked when the boot config displayed on a tv I connected on a whim ...5 years later I have HDMI output again.

[65 W] This is my second qnap unit and it is great. Super simple to setup. So far the i7 has taken everything I've thrown at it and hasn't even broken a sweat.

[0.7 lb] This thing is replacing my TS 653 eventually. It is whisper quiet sitting right beside me. It is a faster Celeron than the 653 and it uses metal trays instead of plastic brackets. It gives my system a nice look. One thing all should be aware of is that the holes for the rack mount are smaller than the regular rack screws so keep that in mind. I didn't increase the memory as I bought the 8 GB model, and I love the B&H Payboo Card which saves money.

[0.7 lb] I woke up one morning to the power supply in my NAS having died overnight. I didn't have a spare (who does?), so I had to frantically search online for one that didn't cost eleventy-bajillion dollars, and would arrive quickly. B&H always seems to have the goods, and this time was no exception. Overnighted all the way across the country, and on my doorstep the following morning.
