[Retail Box] I know there are many people not liking the subscription model Adobe has adopted. I'm one of them. But your can't beat the value you get for all the software! If I could find a better suite of software, I'd switch. But lately, some software makers are updating their software now on a yearly basis, even having you upgrade just to fix bugs! Offering little in the way of new features. So, I'm still subscribing after 4 years. I'm lucky enough to work for the educational system to get this incredible discount for teachers and students. Otherwise, I wouldn't want to pay the higher subscriptions prices as a normal user. I'd wait for deals like B&H are offering to get this Adobe suite of products.

[1 User] I started using StoryBoard Quick for my student projects and now I use it to storyboards ALL of my films and videos (video shorts, TV ads and a music video!). For me this is what it boils down to: it's fast and it works. What's great about it is how easy it is to get work done! Actually done. I don't have time to draw by hand and SB Quick help me preplan all of my shoots to not only organize the entire project for me, but for those I'm working with. Sure, sometimes there's a specific prop I need that the software doesn't have, but it's so easy to import graphics it's never been a problem. The bottom line is it's simply the perfect tool for the job. I keep Storyboard Quick (and Final Draft) on my laptop so it's always with me on set. A+++.

[Retail Box] Little bit of a learning curve but not bad. Lots of features and generally easy to use. Occasional NON-intuitive features that require some work.

[Retail Box] This is a great tablet to start getting accustomed to using a tablet, and I got the medium for longevity. The bells & whistles of the higher priced tablets aren't really necessary for me, so I likely won't have to upgrade any time soon; this one does what I need.

[Retail Box] This thing is wonderful, and I rely on it daily for my professional graphics work. It's the most basic model, but that suits me because the extra buttons and features never found their way into my workflow. Other Wacom tablets I've had have lasted 5 years of daily hard use on average before going on the fritz - hopefully this one will do the same or better. Having natural drawing tools lets me bring so much organic aesthetic to my design work, and I actually use it to completely replace my mouse even when doing non design work.
