Also, you don't have to tell the duplicator what you put into it, as it can automatically detect whether it's a CD or DVD, and which format it is. It can even automatically convert between DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW media.

VCP master discs and images can be written to any brand of 4.7GB SL, or 8.5GB DL DVD disc that you choose. In order to create a VCP master, you need a license for each one. The SharkCopier comes with 5, and more can be purchased from Vinpower Digital if needed. Note that a license cannot be retrieved once it's used to create a VCP master of any kind.

OCP master discs and images require no license to create, and you can create as many as you'd like with the SharkCopier. However, you must use 4.7GB SL OptoDisc MID DVD media throughout the duplication process.
