A: bought this 13 months ago and 6 or 7 drives really have a hard time opening. suggest that you keep a paperclip handy. Wish I had thought to send it back with in the first year while under warrenty. Most likely this is a fluke.

I installed the CyberLink software that came with this drive expecting it to install DVD/BD player software but still no luck. Is this drive not compatible with Win10 or am I doing something wrong?

A: I have 1 Windows 10 desktop and 1 Windows 10 laptop and this LG Bluray Burner works well with both machines. Plug it in and it works. Windows 10 media player does not support Bluray, so it comes with Cyberlink Media Suite. Install the suite on both machines and voila... It plays Bluray or burns disc easily. No problem at all.
