The case cradles your camera, positioning it handle-up instead of on its side, so you can quickly pull it from the case and onto your shoulder. The laser-cut aerospace-quality foam is durable and more resistant to turning to dust than the standard open-cell foam.

The laser cutting also improves the appearance, and features cutouts for numerous accessories, including the top handle and EVF (both attached to the camera), four Sony batteries, a charger, cables, and the Sony remote. Once loaded with your gear, the case is designed to be slightly bottom-heavy when standing upright. This makes it less likely to overbalance and tip over. The Jason Cases laser-cut foam is housed in a genuine Pelican 1610 case. This package includes only the case and foam, and not the camera, lens, or any accessories that are sold separately.

While the sizes of that and the Sony LMD-A170 17" LCD Production Monitor (B&H# SOLMDA170) that you asked about are very similar, they are not quite exactly the same. We therefore cannot recommend using it for the LMD-A170, but it would not be difficult to cut the foam with a razor to get it to fit. Please note that doing that would render it unreturnable and void any warranty, however. A: Unfortunately, no, the Sony FE C 16-35mm T3.1 G E-Mount Lens would not fit inside the Jason Cases Sony FE Lens Case.

Q: 5. Would I be able to fit a Sony FE 50mm 1.2 lens in the Sony 50mm 1.4 slot?

A: No, the Jason Cases Sony FE Lens Case is made for the 50mm f/1.4. The Sony FE 50mm f/1.2 lens is too large.

Q: 6. Isn't it a bad idea for the stress on. the lens mount to travel the camera WITH the lens on?

A: We do recommend taking the lens off the camera when traveling. It can over time loosen the camera mount.

A: The Sony SRG-A40 should work with the Jason Cases Sony BRC-X400 3-Camera Case however it has not been tested with this camera model. [20 lb (9 kg)] I just purchased 2 Black Magic URSA Studio cameras and knew the challenge to have one case include cameras, accessories and add extra studio viewfinder was going to be a challenge. I contacted them before buying and they talked me through everything even sent Pics of the case with All Accessories in the case since the camera had not shipped to everyone yet.
