Q: 1. Do you have a 230VAC version? Otherwise it is possible to replace the bulb to a 230VAC alternative?

A: We do not offer a 230 VAC model. This product must use the appropriate, recommended lamps to function correctly. 75 W Medium base socket

Q: 2. Is there any way you can install a remote / wireless switch for this device? If so, do you have any recommendations?

A: Good question. I believe there a few different ways to accomplish this install to be compatible with a wireless remote switch. You would have to do some research on that however. One way I know of is using a pico wireless remote and a Lutron PowPak RMJ-5R-DV-B. They are compatible together. The pico can be used as a portable remote device or it can be installed using a wall adapter. The powpak could be mounted right o. The side of a junction box or it could probably fit inside of the recording light fixture. There's plenty of room inside. I believe there's a 30' range on these devices. That's just one quick way of doing it for about $150-$200.

A: Dimensions 6 x 8 x 4 (15.2 x 20.3 x 10.1 cm)

Q: 4. The description says power cord not included. What type of power cord is needed?

A: You have to wire it to the main switch you use to turn your gear on. This way when you turn on whatever master switch you are using to turn everything on the sign lights up. When you finish working and shut down the light will go out. Normally in studios they used to be wired to the tape machine transport so once you pressed play the sign would go on.

Q: 5. Is this light waterproof? Can it be mounted outside?

A: No not water proof

A: The Faceplate is able to be removed.

A: This item was not designed to be modified, and we do not have custom light options available at this time. If you choose to attempt to modify it, please be aware that it will not be returnable.

Q: 8. Can you recommend a mounting Base?

A: The TecNec FSL-1 Triple-Sided, On-Air Warning Light is standardly mounted to a wall or other surface and has mounting locations on the back of its base plate for hanging.

Q: 9. how does this unit turn on/off.. is there a switch or do you have to manually plug and unplug it when not in use?

A: There is a switch we installed right under one of our desks. We flip that and the sign goes on and off. Easy and effective.

Q: 10. From where can one obtain a replacement faceplate? Ours was stolen.
