The D-Tap to USB Adapter from Ikan offers a 2.5V USB port and an auxiliary 14.8V D-Tap output. It directly plugs into any Gold or V-Mount battery using a D-Tap connector, converting the pro battery into a USB power bank that charges your mobile devices and other compatible accessories. The auxiliary D-Tap output can be simultaneously used for charging cameras and other accessories with 14.8V input requirement.

A: The adapter allows you to use V-Mount type batteries on Gold Mount Camera Plates. It will also allow you to charge V-Mount batteries on PRO-X Gold Mount Chargers.

Q: 2. Will this unit charge other brand batteries, like the Anton Bauer dionic hc? Which batteries does this unit work with?

A: While this unit should charge most other 3rd Party Gold Mount Batteries, Anton Bauer Gold Mount batteries tend to only work on Anton Bauer Chargers. We would not recommend this charger for an Anton Bauer Gold Mount Battery.

A: The USB-C port of the Anton/Bauer Titon Micro Gold Mount Battery Bracket with P-Tap and USB Output is located to the lower left side of the adapter based on the image shown on our site.

Q: 4. Can the DC out be used to power a light with the batteries fully charged and connected? Or does the unit need to be plugged in and free of batteries to operate that way?

A: No, the charger can function as a portable AC to DC power adapter, taking the AC power input and outputting 15 VDC at 4A via a 4-pin XLR connector. The output is only active when no batteries are attached.

Q: 5. Besides the build in Charge Protection System and larger size, is there any other differences between this battery and the BA-90SC? Is the BA-90SC prone to have memory issues that this $50 up-charge for the DR-90S will take care of?

A: According to Dracast, the only difference between the batteries is the size.

Q: 6. Can I travel internationally with this charger? Will it work with a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz frequency?

A: Yes you can. It operates 100V to 265V AC.

A: As long as the gold mount battery on the IndiPRO Tools Gold Mount Battery Adapter Plate to USB-C and D-Tap with 15mm LWS Rod Mount has USB-C PD, you can do this, otherwise the camera will shut off over time. The IndiPRO Tools Gold Mount Battery Adapter Plate to USB-C and D-Tap with 15mm LWS Rod Mount does not have PD power.

[0.05 lb] We use this to power the C-Box with two 1TB Samsung 850 Pro SSDs on the Blackmagic Ursa, and can't wait to use it to fire up the C-Box on an Ursa Mini. Wish there was a 5V 5A version so folks can use a pair of 2TB SSDs on the Ursa, but for now the available amperage restricts us to 1TB drives (which is plenty of space for now, and you can't beat SSDs on price-per-gig anywhere near those write speeds). 5

[0.05 lb] Takes the output of an Anton Bauer battery (or other D-Tap/P-Tap compatible battery) and powers my USB devices as stated. Mostly using the two I bought to power a Nyrius Aries Pro HDMI transmitter and receiver for a director's monitor, but I have also used it to charge iPhones and iPads with no problem. Seems pricey for what it is, but it works great. 5

[0.05 lb] This plate is terrific quality with a great tight lock. The two p-tap ports are great vs a normal plate with only one. Plus, irs cheaper than the Smallhd plate! I use this on my Smallhd 1303 HDR to power the monitor and two Teradek recievers at once, keeping the 2 pin LEMO on the monitor free for charging focus hand units or additional tools. 5

[0.05 lb] I needed a conversion plate for my BOXX Meridian wireless HD transmitter, which is V-mount for my own equipment; to adapt it to a client camera that is Anton Bauer powered. And this perfect toy is exactly what we needed ! Its ligthweight, small and fit perfectly in between any Anton Bauer equipment, and a V-mount battery or (in my case) my BOXX Meridian wireless transmitter. And you still get to power the Anton Bauer equipment on the other side + you have a powertap port too, if you need to power extra equipment on your rig. At that price, stop looking around ! 5

[0.05 lb] Now I can mount an Anton Bauer battery to my Dracast LED in a snap. Of which I have many. The adapter is easy to attach/detach so I have the flexibility to use V mount batteries with no adapter, or AB Gold mount batteries with the adapter. I fooled around with ordering a cheaper knock off from China. Bad experience. This works perfectly. 5

[0.05 lb] I use this adapter to put a Gold Mount battery on my Dracast Silver Series LED 1000 Foldable Bi-Color light. It works perfectly, and is very well made. I even use it to charge the gold mount batts on my V-Mount charger. All without a hitch. Another good product from Dracast. 5
