[Aluminum] I purchased this to help relieve the strain on my one arm from shooting the crane with its single handle.this helps shooting long periods of time more bearable. One great feature was how I'm able to mount a monitor onto this. Greatly helps during filming. Great build quality and bang for the buck! 5

[3/8"-16] The normal grip on the DS1 is okay, but if you want more control and versatility, you will want to get a handle on it. it makes it easier to use and helps to hold for long periods of time. 5

[Aluminum] This dual handle grip is a no brainer if you have the Ikan stabilizer. Makes using the gimbal with some heavier lenses a whole lot easier and adds extra stability and the ability to hold the gimbal up longer. I did get some shakes when the screw at the bottom would come a little loose but nothing that a little tightening and adjusting cant fix. Definitely snag these up! 5
