CMC Pro 4.7GB DVD-R 16x Printable Disc (100-Pack)supports writing speeds of up to 16x and offers write-once data capacities of up to 4.7GB. The discs also feature a white printable area that is compatible with Prism thermal printers, so you can create detailed custom designs directly on the surface. Once the disc has been finalized, you can place the finished media back inside its cake-style box. Moreover, each disc is compatible with nearly all types of duplication equipment and designed to have a low failure rate.

A: The manufacturer uses it's proprietary HardCoat coating for its BD-Rs. They advertise a long life, but do not make any quantitative claims to longevity the way M-DISC does. Additionally, there is not necessarily any definitive difference in longevity between HardCoat and similar coatings and M-DISC save for price.

[3.66 lb] I do a lot of copying photos to disks for archiving and sharing. These have never failed me. I know they are probably not the best for long term archiving but heck, I'm 70 years old. They will last my lifetime anyway! LOL. 5

[3.66 lb] I have been purchasing this item for several years now and have used close to a thousand of these DVD's with great success. I design my own labels to print into the discs and when I am finished,the disc looks as if it came from a professional printing office. I have made DVD's of my band in performance, and have DVD's made off TV. They all look very professional and the quality of the picture and sound is perfect. Also, the labels I design print all the way from the outer edge to the hub, and it is easy to design a great-looking label. I see no way to improve the discs. 5

[Single] I haven't used these discs from this order yet, but I have used the product before and they've worked beautifully. They have held up very well over the years.
