The ANI-4K-VW 1x4 UHD TV Wall allows a HDMI 4K2K input source to be freely arranged on (4) displays (TVs or monitors) with a bezel correction function. The friendly control application for the TV Wall system has never been easier. This application leads the user through single or total device control. The device supports video output timings up to WUXGA@60RB and 1080p@60 Hz, audio formats up to 7.1CH LPCM at 192 KHz sampling rate based on the input source EDID. All the operation and control can be done through Telnet and RS-232.

Q: 1. Will this support 2k input and output as well as 4k input and output?

A: Yes, this splitter supports resolutions up to 4096 x 2160.

Q: 2. Can I use a RG45 to VGA adapter on other end instead of the HDMI receivers?

A: No, the transmitter and receivers on the A-Neuvideo 1 x 2 HDMI 4K30/1080p Cat 6 Extender Splitter with 2 Receivers are matched, and the receivers cannot be swapped for another receiver with a different output. It is possible to still have VGA output by converting the HDMI output on the receivers.

Q: 3. Im wanting to mirror my desktop to four monitors in different rooms nearby. This device is my solution Im pretty sure. My question is, what kind of power CPU or ability does my computer need to have to make this work? I dont want to overwork my computer to achieve these 4 separate displays. I also dont want image quality to suffer.

A: Your computer is not affected. The splitter does not need any special signal boost from the computer. You can use it to split and send a signal from a TV if you like or video camera.

Q: 4. Can this be used to split the video output to a monitor and to a Teradek Cube in a Canon C-300 Mark II?

A: You could use this to split the HDMI signal from a Canon C300 to a monitor and a Teradek Cube. However, this device is better for permanent installations. If that is what you are doing, that is fine. However, for splitting the HDMI signal while on set in active situations, we suggest using a monitor with a HDMI loop through to the Teradek as a more convenient solution.

Q: 5. Can you set the EDID of this to 23.98 at any of it's resolutions?

Q: 6. How does one update the firmware on these devices?

A: Firmware is installed via the front USB connection. At this current time there are no firmware updates available for the KanexPro 1x4 HDMI Splitter BH #KASPHD1X44K.

Q: 7. Can it output to 2 displays of different resolution? i.e. 4K + 1080p (downscaled) also, does it support ARC?

A: no, it cannot downscalei'm not sure about ARC

Q: 8. Does this splitter work for both t.v and projectors?

A: I have only used it for projectors but I don't see why not...keep in mind it's 1080 res not WUXGA

Q: 9. Is the audio an input or output? I wanting to marry processed audio with the mixed HDMI signal.
