A: This will work with any V-Mount battery. However the various cameras listed may have different power needs. Some may need a V-Mount directly mounted on to the, others specific cables. There is no V-Mount battery plate ready to work with all cameras.

A: No, the WC plate doesn't have that switch you can see in the side view that regulates the voltage for different devices. The WC plate is unregulated, but I personally have never used or needed a P-tap device that didn't work with standard v-mount battery voltage ranges. The WC plate is cheaper, but it depends if you need to regulate power or not.

[Connector] The mount provides the option of attaching a range of V-Mount batteries, and two TAP ports, which I use to power an A7s and Shogun combination. Means I can keep the cables attached when changing batteries. Works fine. 5

[1.1 lb] I had a plate finally die and decided to get this one with 2 p-taps instead of one and I'm very glad. I've usually had the plates with just one p-tap, so most of the time, I'm running a second tap and using the little splitter cube. Now most of the time I can skip the second tap. I screw this into the IDX 15mm LWS plate, and another plus is this particular battery plate doesn't require the metal adapter plate that comes with the IDX plate, so I also shaved a few ounces. My old v-mount plate was made of some more brittle plastic and had several cracks and chips in it, which is another reason I'm happy with this plate. The price is not bad either, especially when you consider the cost of a p-tap splitter...which often won't be needed since this has two p-taps. 5

[2x D-Tap] It's great to have more mounting points and still retain the pogo connections passed through! Somebody had wrongly told me that I would be able to use my Red Start/Stop handle facing either direction, but not so. That's only true with the WC Easy Top. 5

[1.1 lb] This adds more secure points of contact on the Red for adding top AND side accessories while not hindering the use of the existing ports. I had the old version on my old Epic and this is my first purchase for our new Epic-W. It does add a little bit more weight to the camera but that's a small price to pay for never having to worry about stripping screws from constantly building and tearing down the accessories. 5
