Mounting this on top of a circular polarizing filter may cause some undersired effects such as cross polarization, vignetting in addition to difficulty adjusting the two filters as both turn and are adjusted by hand... if you mount the CP, then the VND it would be difficult to control both as they are turning. We recommend using a straight ND and then a CP instead.

A: Well as others have indicated, 67 mm is the correct size for the lens, you are asking about. while this is true, some times it is more cost efficient to get a larger size filter and an adaptor ring. When buying my natural density filter, I chose one that fit on the largest diamiter lens in my travel kit, so that I could use the filter on all my lenses, with the only added cost/weight of the adaptors. This also alows for a larger filter to be used on my wider angle lenses, reducing any vignetting that the filter might cause on the wide angle lenses. Vignetting can be a problem on wide angle lenses as the Variable Neutral Density Filter tends to be fairly thick and there for may caused some vignetting.
