Have unprecedented precision control over the "sweet spot" of focus in your selective focus photos with the Lensbaby Composer Pro II Sweet 35 Nikon Favailable here with a Nikon F mount. This updated tool is completely compatible with the established Optic Swap System and can use any of the numerous optics available. This version improves upon the original Pro model by featuring a metal body as well as an improved tilt function that ranges from 0-15° in any direction.

Bundled with it is the Sweet 35, the widest focal length of any Lensbaby selective focus optic. This curved field optic differs from your standard lens by creating a spot of focus when tilted that can be manipulated in position by tilting the Composer and manipulated in size by manually changing the aperture from f/2.5 to f/22. The optic also offers manual focus as close as 7.5" from your subject. Additionally, it has a 46mm filter thread as well as an internal 12-blade diaphragm for extra smooth out-of-focus areas.

[46 mm (Front)] I've known about lensbaby for years, and have watched it evolve - always curious but never felt compelled to give one a shot. I bought this after giving the trio 28 a shot, as I'm now totally in love with lensbaby products. The sweet 35 optic gives a center-focus and blurs the corners. Aperture sets the blur circle and amount. Then you have the tilt function of the housing that allows you to change from center, to the various corners of the frame. The housing doesn't feel too cheap, as it's a combination of metal and hard plastics - It feels more solid and substantial than the canon nifty 50. The images it produces are great, but I am still trying to figure out how to go about shooting with this lens. Do I set the tilt and then find the frame and focus? Or do I find the frame and then shift and then focus? Either way it's time consuming and this lens is best used when you have time to really compose the shots, like portraits. I think for street or quicker paced shooting, the key is to let go of the details and just shoot and be delighted with what you come back with. Fun little lens to spark some creativity. 5

[0.595 lb] Fun and creative lens! Great to draw the eyes towards the subject of your photo and hide all the garbage that may be in your shot. Takes a little practice to figure out where your center of focus will be but allows for off center focal points while really blurring out the rest. Adds some fun to otherwise ho-hum shots. 5

[0.595 lb] I bought this lens for the special effect possibilities and the flexibility to change different focal lengths. Note: There is a learning curve to using this lens ... when it is most effective ... or not. This is my second Lensbaby lens ... the other is a Circular Fisheye ... and super fun. Lensbaby lens are very good quality, produce excellent image and low priced ... I think of them as the lens you buy AFTER you have your basic lens. Lensbaby make fun lens for creative images. There lens are manual focus only ... and you set the aperture ... therefore it requires the photographer to think ... and slow down ... and that is part of the fun in using the lens. 5

[Manual Focus] I've only been using this lens for a short time, but I love the results. It takes some practice, but this lens has a lot of creative possibilities and the effects are amazing. This a great lens to add to your collection at a reasonable and fair product price. The Sweet 50 is awesome !! 5

[f/22] I love this new lens!� It's a great little art lens that allows for a spot of tack sharp focus surrounded by beautiful blur.� The focus can moved around the frame by simply moving the lens on a ball joint.� The Sweet 35 Optic can be removed from the Composer Pro ll and other optics added, so it's possible to switch between a Sweet 50 Optic, a Twist 60 Optic, and so on.� I don't use this lens everyday, but it's a really fun lens that will add a whole new perspective to your photos.� I'd recommend it. 5

[0.595 lb] Used the Sweet 35 to change up the shooting process and look at the studio in a different way. This was an update for me from the original lens baby. The fact that the optics can be changed is great. Easy to use and sharp images. Used with the Canon 5D MKIV. 5

[12] If you have ever thought about lens whacking, but you think that sounds dirty, this is a much less eyebrow raise heavy way to get a similar effect. Also, your sensor won’t get a thousand dust particles stuck on it’s stupid little exposed face. You won’t be disappointed. For the price, this thing is amazing, and achieves the desired look very well! 5
