The adaptor connected with the camera mount and the lens without inconveniences. The camera mount for the original Black Magic Pocket Camera is the same. If you are matching the red dots and your adapter is not connecting to your camera this unit may be detective.

[0.03 lb] I think I’m getting infinity focus or slightly past it maybe, it focuses past the distant mountains, anyway the fear of not being able to hit infinity doesn’t seem to be an issue for me. Using Schneider Xenon 16mil lenses on bmpcc4k. 5

[0.03 lb] I used this to attach a micro four thirds camera to a C-Mount adapter for a microscope. This gets a bit wonky, but the C-Mount was used for some older movie cameras and is now used for microscope cameras that fit into microscope eyepieces or dedicated “trinocular” ports. The C-Mount has a flange distance about 2 mm deeper than the MFT flange distance, so this adapter holds the camera that distance into the camera. You may find the C-mount lens extends so deep that it hits the camera chip. However, besides microscopes, it will allow you to use old C-Mount lenses in your MFT camera. 5

[Aluminum] Plenty of reasons to like this adapter. The machining is clean, it is very simple, and seems to be accurate. Snaps right into my GH5 like it was made for it. I cannot say, however, how well it fits C-mount, as it is my first such adapter, and apparently the lens I bought it for is NOT C-Mount .. oh well .. I'll keep the adapter, and look for some C-mount lenses! 5

[Aluminum] I shoot video mostly 720p & 1080p and I have several older C Mount Lenses.� This adapter is great for putting them on my Z Cam E1 with a Micro 4/3 mount.� The majority of my C Mount Lenses only cover a 2/3" sensor so the results on Micro 4/3 video are a cropped circle, top and bottom are OK, but left and right do show the circle. I'm able to fix that in post by zooming into the area of the circle, so this is no big deal, BUT consider that in most cases you'll need to fix this in camera with a digital zoom or in post.� To avoid loss of sharpness, I shoot one step higher in resolution when I'm going to crop in post.� A few of the C Mount Lenses do fill the frame and there's no need for cropping. 5
