The Pictools Speedlite Lighting Kit with Octabox & Standoffers photographers to opportunity to travel light while gaining light quality usually associated with a studio flash unit. The Octabox comes with a front diffuser that softens the output while providing a wrap-around light quality and natural catchlights in the eyes. The 31.5" Octabox has a silver interior for maximum output. It's meant to mount to the included Tri-Flash bracket which has a 5/8" receiver that accepts the kit's included 6' light stand.

A: Yes, 2 lights should be enough light for even more people in a studio w background setting. 6 lights each provides plenty of light. You can use the full 6 lights for main and turn off 2 for fill light. You might still want to consider a smaller light source for head light as well as one for the background.

A: Yes, it does include bulbs. 32w 60Hz 5300 - 5800k

A: Unfortunately, Impact does not offer a grid for this light kit.

A: The Hercules Gear Up Lighting Stand (11.5') would not be able to accept a boom arm in place of the T-bar.

Q: 9. Can you use the grid and a color filter at the same time?

A: It does not appear that you could use both at the same time. The filter holder and grid are attached at the same point and would probably get in the way of one another.

Q: 10. What is the maximum watt lamp (x6) you can use in this head?

A: The manufacturer recommends CFL bulbs up to 32w for the Octocool products.

[4.45 lb] I really don't like using my webcam, because sometimes it is not flattering. This kit allows me to look better on camera. I use the stand to put my camera in the perfect spot and the light makes me look more flattering. The light lasts long enough for my meetings. 5

[Silver] The wife uses this for her conference calls and I use it for my varying photographic needs (macro to portraits). The quality of light is perfect as you get to choose whether it is cool or warm with an easy selector, and then you can choose the lighting strength just as easily. I was so excited to get the light that I didn't realize it was a kit - what a great surprise! 5

[4.45 lb] The Impact Octacool 6 Fluorescent Light is excelent product, strong and professional. It's like we use to work 50 years ago with Continuos Light but without hot temperature. The Light Quality is perfect (5,000/5,500 K). I just bought one more. Thanks B&H for dealing that! 5

[4.45 lb] This set-up is amazing and super bright. The fixture is very heavy duty as is the stand. The hard reflector is perfect size, but when you build and attach the Octa-box.......whoa! The whole thing becomes enormous!!! 5

[Yes] Lume Cube has done it again. This lighting unit has controls for color temperature of the light as well as the ability to set the brightness of illumination in 5% incriminates from 1% to 100%. It comes complete with a tripod legs that lock, and a adjustable head to allow pitching the light disc for a more natural casting of light on face. It is intended for use on Zoom calls but it can be used for other small object light applications. You can even use it to find your lost keys. By setting the output at 50% the unit will provide steady and reliable lighting for over 2 hours per charge. Plenty of value for the price point of this little, but mighty, badboy. B&H delivered my purchase in record time. 5
