A: The total allowable depth is 6" in / 152 mm. The top section is 4" in / 102 mm in diameter with a depth of 2" in / 51 mm. Below that there are 2 removable foam discs with a diameter of 2 7/8" in / 73 mm. One disc has a height of 1 1/2" in / 38 mm. The other disc has a height of 2 1/2" in / 64 mm.

Q: 5. Can this fit Zeiss Otus "28mm", which has a wider diameter? Thanks.

A: Yes it will. You could place multiple of that lens in this case.

Q: 6. Would Zeiss CP.3 lenses fit in here?

A: Yes. While they may be slightly snug, the ZEISS Compact Prime CP.3 Lenses should fit inside the Nanuk 918 6-Lens Case with Foam Insert.

A: A Canon 24-105mm f/4L would be the largest lens it can hold.

A: While the case can accommodate the 28-135 F G, the insert will not. You'll have to enlarge the lens cut out for the 28-135 F G to fit.

A: Nanuk doesn't mention the dimensions for the lens cutouts but the case accommodates most lenses sizes: 8-15mm, 24-70mm, 24-105mm, 17-40mm, 17-55mm and 100mm.

Q: 10. Can you fit a 16" MacBook Pro in that top pocket in the lid?

A: The top pocket on the lid of the Nanuk 918 Waterproof Carry-On Hard Case with Lid Organizer (Graphite) BH #NA9186007 is small for a 16" MacBook Pro.

[7.18 lb] I wrote several reviews for these Nanuk products, and these reviews will look very much repetitive. It is mainly due to the constant high-quality and excellent design fo these cases. There is nothing else to add. I love these cases, and bought a few whenever they were on flash deals at B&H. They are literally built like a tank. Design and materials are perfect down to the smallest details. I even bought a few spare ones as we always have some fragile items to protect. I strongly recommend these cases, and purchasing them at B&H. The only thing I could recommend would be to have, from time to time, the other colors (than the traditional black) made available. 5

[7.18 lb] Use this case for my Zeiss lenses set. The 8.6” interior depth is good enough for holding lenses vertically. It’s made in Canada which means it shares the same quality control standard as Pelican in US. It really kills those cheap cases. You also receive Lifetime Guarantee as well. Buy it as no brainer. You will never regret. 5

[Latch] With several Rokinon primes stuffed various places in my gear wrapped in nice lens pouches I was looking for greater protection and organization. This is the perfect product for protecting you glass and being able to find them quickly and easily. The enclosure is amazingly rugged and well built. The foam lining is a little firmer than I expected but well suited to the purpose of holding these lensing securely and safely. It's a great case. As my primes increase in number I'll certainly add another Nanuk case to protect and organize them. 5
