The inner rack chassis is built of high strength/lightweight aluminum alloy extrusions with 11 gauge hot rolled carbon steel rack rails to meet EIA-310 standards. Shock and vibration mitigation is accomplished with eight elastomeric isolators rated for a payload range of 40 lbs to 150 lbs in a standard configuration. The interior frame and shocks provide adequate sway space for ambient air circulation and heat dissipation.

Q: 2. is it also water resist?

A: The canvas bag is fairly heavy duty ... so it could with stand a little bit of moisture ... i.e. walking from vehicle to building in rain ... but I certainly wouldn't leave it anywhere it could get wet for any length of time since it stores electronics. It is not coated or treated for water resistance.

Q: 3. Can you remove the wheels from the rack and put them back again? The reason I am asking is because I will have the put the rack on a table and it wouldn't look good with the wheels below it. It would be great to be able to remove them while we use it and to put them back on when we are done using it.

A: Yes, it should not be a problem. We use it for a Lenova All-In-One 23 inch PC which has a stand with a wider base than the Dell monitor and it fits fine. Plenty of room for accessories also. The interior foam allows for a great deal of individualization.
