[Arca-Type] I have several Kirk items and have been impressed each and every time. The build quality, made in the USA, and the mechanics of the product are smooth and user-friendly. Everything is in the right place and allows you to work easily without having to think about it. Also, I have to mention their cost - much less than other highly touted products and easily their equal. Try it once and you will be back.

[0.435 lb] Works well and is easy to use. Be sure to remember to get a reducer bushing to screw it to the tripod. It cost me several days because I forgot to order one. Once the bushing arrived the clamp locked to the tripod in a jiffy. I'm using it with an L-bracket.

[Arca-Type] The headline says it all; simple and sturdy. No quick release, no fancy buttons, just a simple rigid platform for your photographic equipment. In my case, I'm running a Matterport camera on a Manfrotto 290 tripod. while another brand QRC was recommended, I opted for the Kirk after holding both in my hands. I found the quick release on the other brand to be a potential issue down the road. I also like the hex wrench that comes with the Kirk, perfect for the legs on my Manfrotto tripod. So another win. A second bubble level would be helpful, but if you know to level things off before mounting your camera you'll be fine.
If you need an Arca-type clamp for your work, the Kirk QRC-2.6 Arca-Type is basically a no-brainer, and B&H has them in stock and at the right price!

[Screw Knob] Another precision-machined metal work of industrial art by Kirk that serves its purpose perfectly. Very light. I've mounted mine to a metal Manfrotto tabletop tripod as a replacement for the 1/4 inch screw-in metal disk on the top of the tiny ballhead. This is so I can use that small tripod with small Arca-Swiss type camera plates that have no hole for a 1/4 inch screw.
